The nag to enter the password every day is just a feature nobody wanted or asked for. It's a click I don’t need. By all means, if you want to address security with making a user re-enter their fingerprint or whatever, go for it, but layers upon layers don't make any sense. Also the Face ID app doesn’t always work!!
