GREAT 2FA Solution
This Sentinel Authenticator 2FA app is GREAT.
I didn’t know what all it was capable of until I ran into a couple of difficult situations yesterday and put it through its paces.
This one inexpensive Pro/Premium purchase allows everything you need, including using it on your Apple Watch, which work seamlessly at activating codes.
And this app can set up codes manually and also allows importing of QR Code screenshots.
Surprisingly, it works on very old versions of the Mac OS.
Customer support is quite responsive in time and comprehensiveness, even on my OS 11.7.
An example was when my iPhone version asked me to upgrade to Pro. I already had Pro on my Mac. So I contacted support. They responded quickly and told me to click the upgrade link on the iPhone app. That resulted in the app saying I was already upgraded and the request to upgrade went away.
When recommending it to friends, tell them not to be confused with other apps named “Authenticator…”. Make sure it is created by Sentinel and/or Tommaso Carpi.

THE Authenticator App worth paying for!
I've used Google's free Authenticator App for years to store my 2FA tokens. Over the years I've had to change phones a couple of times and in doing so I've experienced duplicate token entries appearing for no reason and thus I've always lived in fear of 2FA tokens corrupting or deleting entirely – being locked out of any vital accounts I need to operate my business and finances would be an utter nightmare and the amount of time and hassle it would cost me makes it completely worthwhile paying/investing to remove the risk entirely:
Sentinel runs on iOS and macOS and sync's my 2FA tokens across multiple devices and has backups too (all secured with apple iCloud and keychain). The one-off 'Fusion Lifetime' in-app purchase is a no-brainer given how effective it is and the QR code import feature makes it ridiculously easy to move everything over from Google in an instant.

Really Good 2FA Service
This app provides exactly the kind of 2FA I want. Much better, in my opinion, than having a code sent to one’s phone via TXT. It’s easy to add the service to compatible Web sites and apps and has served me well for a long time. I use it on both desktop and mobile devices. The app is updated regularly and in the years I’ve been using it, has never had a problem. Thanks, Sentinel.
