Garbage don’t waste your time ### 1/5 — Nice try guys *2025-03-24* Looking for the authY two factor authentication app yielded your little scam by cleverly slipping that L into the title and like the fool that I was didn’t notice that you are in fact, not the app I was looking for. First red flag is the constant demands to sign up for your service when I know that the property application is 100% free. Furthermore, when I did manage to get your app to work, none of my authentication accounts recognize the codes you were giving me. Only after some digging did I see you quite intentionally and tempted to sneak your app into the top searches so that people like myself who might not have noticed the L in your name would break down and give you money. While your actions might not be against the TOS it is truly disgusting. Any company that tries to could wink people like cleverly misspelling their company. Well, you didn’t get a cent from me. ### 1/5 — Scam, not with *2025-03-04, version 1.1* Presents itself as authy by twillo, using that name in screenshots ### 1/5 — Unable to follow the complicated directions, you have to reset my password. *2024-12-27* Horribly complicated if you have lost your password. In fact, it is quite nearly impossible. ### 1/5 — Like an std impossible to get rid of *2024-12-13* Tried deleting my authy account almost as soon as downloading the app. Confirmation email to complete the process was sent to a bogus email not associated with me at all. The support message box in the app lets you type your message, but good luck getting it to send. There's no customer support number for Authy or Twilio, the parent company. I can't recall the last time I felt such rage against a maliciously designed product. ### 1/5 — Impersonating Authy *2024-12-05* This is a terrible way to get clients. They chose this name to attract traffic from those who actually want to sign up with Authy. Not a smart marketing plan. ### 1/5 — 🤬 SUPER DECEPTIVE!!! Do NOT Download!!! (See review for details) *2024-11-05* The more widely used 2FA Authentication app is AuthY with a -Y and NOT AuthLY with an -LY. Naming your app this, charging a subscription fee for a 2FA authentication app, & then paying to have it suggested at the top of the apps list when searching is SO slimey.
