## What is Autism?

WHIZKID GAMES
Trusted by 1.3 million families, Whizkid Games turns screen time into something you can feel genuinely good about — purposeful, evidence-based play designed for autistic children.

FEEL GOOD ABOUT SCREEN TIME
Many parents feel torn about screen time. Whizkid Games changes that. Every minute your child plays is spent building real communication, emotional understanding, social connection, and independence — not passive entertainment. Independent research found that just 15 minutes a day over five weeks led to measurable improvements in social skills and behavioural functioning.

LEVEL 3 AUTISTIC CHILDREN
Developed for children with Level 3 autism, Whizkid Games builds real-world skills in an evidence-based, engaging way.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
Whizkid Games aligns with the DSM-5 autism criteria. As children play in the Games Hub, they build real-life skills through social stories and mini-games, while collecting Behaviour Bubbles, Social Sparks, and Whizkid Coins. Our age-protected Parents Dashboard turns play into insight — showing progress across the 3 Social Communication/Interaction and 4 Behavioural (Restricted/Repetitive) diagnostic dimensions, so you can see growth at a glance.

OUR GAMES
Every game features its own character to anchor the skill and celebrate effort. Each activity aligns with DSM-5 Autism Spectrum Disorder domains (A1–A3, B1–B4).

Ron Gets Dressed — Adapting to change in morning routines; builds sequencing, flexibility, and independence. (DSM-5: A1, A2, B2)
Bob and Friends — Gentle eye contact and turn-taking; strengthens social connection and confidence. (DSM-5: A1, A2, A3)
Florence the Frog — Following visual and sound cues; supports direction, focus, and sensory regulation. (DSM-5: A1, A2, B4)
Eric Goes to the Airport — Waiting and traveling calmly; practices patience, requests, and transitions. (DSM-5: A1, A3, B2, B3)
Kody's World — Learning gestures and body language; encourages imitation and expression. (DSM-5: A1, A2, B1)
Grouping with Sketchy — Sorting and classifying objects; develops reasoning, flexibility, and focus. (DSM-5: A2, B2, B3)

WHY FAMILIES CHOOSE WHIZKID GAMES
Parents, teachers, and therapists recommend Whizkid Games because it blends research, family insight, and playful design. Children build independence across daily routines, school participation, travel, and social interaction. They develop emotional understanding, eye contact, and self-regulation, with step-by-step support for coping with change. The app is safe and free to download with no ads. The presentation is sensory-friendly, with clear visuals, predictable patterns, and audio cues. Educators value that practice in the app shows up in everyday life.

BACKED BY SCIENCE — GUIDED BY VALUES
Whizkid Games is developed by the Education Network Group with PhD-qualified researchers, families, and autistic children. Design decisions are informed by autism research and co-design, so each experience is effective, inclusive, and enjoyable. Our values: Wonder sparks curiosity and joy, Knowledge builds real-world skills, and Growth supports confidence and independence.

TRACK THE PROGRESS. FEEL GOOD ABOUT SCREEN TIME.
Inside the Parent Dashboard, track your child's progress over time and gain insight into their strengths and emerging skills — so you can see meaningful development happening, not just screen time.

JOIN A GLOBAL COMMUNITY
Over 1.3 million families have played Whizkid Games since 2009. One parent said: "For the first time, screen time became something we felt good about. We could actually see progress in everyday life."

### 4/5 — Rating

*2026-06-05*

My daughter is 12 years old she has level 2 autism I didn’t expect her to like it as much as she does the only thing I would change is the low quality animation it doesn’t really scream friendly in my opinion

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for sharing this — we're delighted your daughter is enjoying the games! Feedback like yours genuinely helps shape what we build next.

On the animation: it's a fair observation. Our games are built in a game engine using a deliberately low-poly art style. This is partly a design choice — simpler visuals reduce sensory overload and help children focus on the learning goal of each game — and partly practical, as it keeps the games running smoothly on a wide range of mobile devices and tablets, including older ones many families rely on. That said, we're always refining our characters and animations, and newer games in the collection reflect this. We'd love for you to keep an eye out for upcoming updates.

Thanks again for your support — it means a lot to our team.

### 1/5 — Trash

So bad it does NOT help and you have to pay, made me crash out and made me play a different game😭let autistic kids continue their routines

**Developer response:** Hi, sorry to hear the app wasn't a good fit. Our games are designed with input from therapists and educators to support Autistic children with social skills, emotional regulation, and daily routines — but we know every child is different.

We offer a free trial so families can try things out before committing. If you have any specific feedback on what wasn't working, we'd love to hear from you at hello@educationnetworkgroup.com. We're always looking to improve.

### 1/5 — This app is so creepy

*2026-02-12*

Those eyes will make kids cry i won’t recommend this app
And im the first download this app

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for the feedback. Our characters are designed to be friendly and approachable for children, but we appreciate that visual style is subjective. We've had great feedback from families and children who love our characters, but we understand they might not be for everyone.

If you have any specific suggestions, we'd love to hear them at hello@educationnetworkgroup.com.
