Manuf schedule on my vehicle is 5,000 miles between oil changes. Coolant flush is also different. Haven’t dug into the rest but I can’t use this app due to this. ### 3/5 — Not pretty but gets the job done *2021-12-28, version 3.4.14* The user interface is clunky and takes time to get used to. I tried several of these car maintenance apps and this was the only one I could find that would allow me to add unlimited services and repairs. I purchased the newer version Auto Care 1 and have not been able to download my previous info. Contacted the developer twice for help and crickets. Apple ios updated and app no longer supported. No help from developers. Once ios updates and ac1 and 2 become unsupported then others will rate it a 1. ### 2/5 — Disappointed I lost my data from the Free Version *2021-07-03, version 3.4.14* I used the free version for years up until recently when I discovered the app wouldn’t open; didn’t realize it wasn’t supported. When the free version stopped working I paid for this version, hoping to retrieve my data. The app attempted to import by old data but failed, so now I wasted money and still lost all of my cars maintenance history. I liked the app - I’m willing to pay for it but not if I can’t get at my past history. ### 2/5 — Customer service ignores *2021-06-30, version 3.4.14* Like a couple other people that was using the free version and it stopped working as they needed to update it. Well, I purchased thinking it would import data. NOPE, said it needed updated before it would import. Sent not one but two requests for advice from them and was completely ignored. By the way this app is still buggy. DO BETTER! Right now the free version on iOS isn’t updated and will now allow me to import the data. Then a couple months ago all my data disappeared! And I had to purchase a Auto Care 1. I went through my manual files i’m reloaded all my maintenance for two cars back into the app. And yesterday when I opened up the app to put in my fill up on my vehicle all my data was gone on both cars again!!! I am traveling and like having access to all my maintenance on my cars. I tried to restore but the download said there was an error. I’ve tried contacting by using the diagnostics but no one has gotten in touch with me! And of course it wants to notify me of that. Tried to report but developers website is suspended. Other than little quirks it’s a good balance of features for home DIY mechanics. I’m moving on to a different app. You should to. Update 2: data lost after updating to iOS16. Update: a long overdue update has resolved the problem with photos. Very happy with this again. Original: I also am unable to attach photos or view previously attached photos. Hey developer: This is a good app, but remove it from the store if it’s not worth your time ### 1/5 — 2nd Data Loss *2022-09-20, version 3.4.14* 1st time was after Auto Care (original) would not update to new iOS. I started again with Auto Care 1 and had it set to iCloud for the data storage. I just upgraded to a new phone and now there is no data in iCloud for the app. Gone. No recovery possible. I even did a full back up to my Mac and transferred my data that way to the new phone. So where was it? Wasn’t on the phone? Wasn’t on iCloud? I lost years of data now twice!!! App is great until you change devices. ### 1/5 — Tried to contact you. No reply. *2021-12-06, version 3.4.14* I had the original auto care, and had all my 2000 Toyota 4Runner records on it. I bought my car used, and scoured the internet for all the records I could find, using the VIN. Recently had not been able to open auto care, it apparently needed to be updated by the developer to work with newer iOS versions. Long story short, lost ALL my digital maintenance records because I couldn’t open original Auto Care. Thanks a lot. ### 1/5 — Autocare1 failed to import Autocare vehicle maintenance history *2021-07-22, version 3.4.14* If you paid $4.99 for Autocare1 and it did not import the vehicle information from Autocare then ask Apple for a refund. I’m disappointed with this app upgrade. Autocare just stopped working -app will not open with a notice that the developer requires an upgrade. However when you upgrade to Autocare1 it does not import the information from Autocare and you lose all of that data. I would think twice about using AutoCare products. ### 1/5 — Does not import *2021-07-21, version 3.4.14* I have tried contacting the support with no success. I have years worth of data in the older app that will not import or transfer. The old app will not open. I have hundreds of hours of irreplaceable information that is now lost. I have emailed Xper2Solutions several times with no response. I have made several calls to Apple and they say they can’t do anything. I have been used this app for few years and able to keep a very good record of car maintenance log in details. Until the new version AutoCare1. I didn’t choose to upgrade why it suddenly I have the new version and why all my data all gone. I emailed to support after two weeks no replied. I would recommend this to those looking for the following: - Comprehensive, yet easy interface - tons of useful reports, PDF printing, graphs - iOS universal app - iCloud device syncing - No third party account creation - customizable service categories - No subscription for use - Minimal, yet functional IAPs - Updated regularly Suggestions: - Add 3D touch ability to quickly add fill-ups from home screen - Possibly Implement “Siri Shortcut” where fill up data could be prompted for via Shortcut app - "Dark" theme Bug (?) - iPhone 7 Plus on iOS 12 When trying to add a photo to a service entry tapping to add photo from Library and then tapping all photos gives a brief view of photos and then a black screen. Using the Moments section works fine however. Overall, this app is super useful! The best of all the apps I found, purchased and tried. I tried just about every app that came up with a "car maintenance" search, and this was the only one that had everything I wanted. Great job! Keep it up! ### 2/5 — Loved this app… Until it deleted my data *2021-12-15, version 3.4.14* I’ve used this app since 2011. It’s been so helpful in managing the maintenance and service for three cars. I last used the app in July 2021. I open the app in December 2021 to enter a service record and my records stored in iCloud are all gone! I’m left with some old data from 2014, before I begin backing up to iCloud. Please help me to retrieve my iCloud data! I would love to update this review to 5 stars. While most phone apps are not all that useful in real life, this one is. And it is pure joy to use. It was so well made that when the app was gone last year and I could not add it to my new phone, I didn’t even bother to find a replacement. I was just sad over an app… This app is that good. Simple, good layout, and simply useful. This is my one and only review for any apps. Every detail the service manual Reccomend s has been programmed in as well as several annual and monthly reminders such as insurance, registration and tire pressure checks. I can forget all of those things now and let this app remind me what something needs to be done. My cars have never been happier!
