Update: been a couple years I think since I last played. The connection issues are gone. But the game is too easy to the point it gets boring (at least in Adventure mode on easy, and you have to play through 10 chapters of Easy to unlock Hard - just let the user play hard from the start - stop all the hand holding!).

Gameplay and production value is great. I like the multiple play modes and that it's single player (plenty of multiplayer auto chess games already). One major problem though - it keeps telling me connection timed out and to check my internet connection, but my connection is fine. The alert comes up like every 20-30 seconds, so that's kind of annoying. It also means some of the features aren't working. One other minor issue - in endless mode, when I lose all my player HP, the game gives me bonuses, including more hp, to stay in the game. And I can't opt out of it - I have to accept. Though I can then surrender from the menu. But if you're going to do that, why even have HP in the first place?? Just let me die! I don't want to continue playing forever (despite the mode being called endless). Or at least make the assistance optional. But please fix the network connection issue! I'd love to keep playing, but not if that keeps happening.

There is a problem with avatars.  I do not notice any changes to statistics before to after purchase, before to after equipping the avatar, and in game avatar affected units do not change stats that are supposed to “boost” them!

I say 4 not 5 due to I want more skins and more boards that boost mor characters like a water map for pirates and castle or mid evil theme board ya know??? I just more stuff to buy to make it fun and sum new characters  would be great please iPad are soon with new stuff love the game play everyday

I’m shocked all the work the dev(s) put in this would be the best AutoChess game on the market if it had PVP and a “zoom” feature. Reeeeaaaallly hoping those two things will be added. Second time downloading this game.

Good game overall and reason price to enjoy the full version. Frequent updates so always fresh content. Thanks to the dev bringing such awesome game to us. One disappointment is game is too hard in the beginning and getting way too easy and duplicate when level up, especially when you have two population talents. btw warriors are too op wish to see more diversity here.

This genre is new to me. Last time I played a auto chess game was on my Apple IIc back  in '88. Anyway my point is that I totally loved it and now  I downloaded chess rush which made me search apple forauto chess games and found a bunch. All pretty much the same foundation but I love this game bc there's no clock making u rush through prepare phase. There is a lot of info  u need to remember so it's difficult with a timer counting down. But this game lets u take time to prepare and remember what each piece does.  So it might be longer in length of matches but it's worth it for newbies to the genre then maybe go to dota or chess rush. It's fun and addictive game but rewarding. The only complaint I have about this game is the decks. There could be a little different characters to play otherwise it's a great game and no need for money to start or play. I have been playing for a week now and no money came out of my pockets. It is a great game but leave a window to play so u can enjoy it bc once u start u cannot stop. At least it is that way for me.

This game, while still a work in progress, is a lot of fun! It’s great to see an offline PvE Auto Chess game that’s at least trying to be somewhat different then the copy/paste of most of the others. I often don’t have the 30min to an hour it takes to finish a full match in an online game, and most others don’t even seem to have any form of PvE you can pick up and put down. It’s a great supplement to the others in the genre.

I’ve been trying different auto chess games out and was super impressed! This game doesn’t have a timer so it allows you to take your time to plan your strategy. It makes for riveting gameplay when you are doing the survival mode and you are going up against impossible odds.

I will start with the obvious downside.  The game is very much incomplete.  The game has many tabs which are not finished, but say will be coming soon.
Now the good part.  The game is fantastic.  I can tell a lot of work was put into this.  Once the future chapters are released so you can bring your team past the initial 40 levels it will be even better.

To the Devs: I know you get so many suggestions that I’m sure it is probably terribly annoying, but I do have two more suggestions.  The first is that in endless once you clear the waves and it asks if you want to continue, you get no rewards for that round.  The second thing is if I want to support development of this game, how do I do that?  There is nothing in the game to spend money on.  You’ve created a great product, and I want to help it reach its full potential faster.  This is by far the best auto chess game I have played so far, and I think I have tried just about all of them.  Just try to finish up the coming soon bits please.  Keep up the great work though, you rock!

I've just fixed the first bug you mentioned (in version 1.22) and would you please update this game to enjoy the rewards now? As for your second suggestion, I'm still working for more chapters of Adventure mode and our players might have to pay for their explore in further chapters. This is very possible to be released on 19th July. Thank you for your suggestions again and I am really that you love my game lol

Update** developer showed me how to redeem my compensation package. Which was more than fair. However the compensation was gems and cards and did not restore me to level 10. I still have to grind from level 1 and obtain the XP on my own.

I totally understand there are some limitations on what can be done on an offline PvE game but even with the nice package of gems I find myself lacking motivation to grind. Still undecided if I want to continue playing.

Was already level 10 and version 1.37 deleted all my saved data and reset me back to level 1 and with all my cards reset to level 1. Lost all my saved gems too.

Was a good game until they screwed up the patch. Also noticed a previous review stating they were having the same issue from back in June. Sad part was I really enjoyed playing this game even with the grind and difficulty.

Tried updating to patch 1.38 and nothing, still at level 1 as if I’m a new player.

I probably played about 50 hours of this and refuse to invest another 50 just to get to the same level I was previously.

Will ask Apple for a refund of my $5.99

Love the core gameplay here. But game is really buggy. Whenever you click on challenge it says “Need Login in” but there’s no way to log in.

Like for what it is, it's ok. It's very repetitive though and a lot of the combos are pointless combos. The same combos every single time and it basically guarantees wins. There's not much point to this game really.

Having been a big fan of Autochess, but not a fan of the timers needed to make a multiplayer game work, this game is exactly what’ve I’ve been needing to really enjoy the awesome strategy system that is auto chess.

Saw my brother play so downloading it. There are a number of spelling errors in the about page. 

Abount vip should be about vip
Realist should probably be realistic 
Roguelike is usually spelled rogue-like

A few examples there are others but do not feel like listing all of them as well as harder grammatical errors relation to past participle among other advanced English sentence structure.

This game is a ton of fun and has quite a bit of play to it. It’s a little easy if you are familiar with auto battlers but that shouldn’t dissuade you from playing. It’s really a fun twist on the normal pvp gameplay.

This game was great.  I was able to experience a combination of Slay the Spire along with the endless mode, to play around with various combination.  I lost hours in the game play!

I also love the fact how the purchase / micro transaction was so in-intrusive!  I appreciate the thought the developer put in to make sure you have an awesome experience playing the game, to the point where I want to pay him for any additional content.  (And I have.). The micro transaction appears quite fair as a one time $5.99 gets you pretty much everything.  Excellent model!
