## What is Auto Logbook for ATO?

Auto Logbook for ATO is a simple, automatic vehicle logbook designed for Australian drivers, tradies, sole traders and small businesses.

Complete the quick setup once, allow automatic trip recording, then use your iPhone normally. Auto Logbook can detect driving in the background, record trip routes and distance, and maintain your vehicle logbook with minimal interaction.

• Work, Private and Needs Review trip classification

FREE FOREVER

Auto Logbook has no subscription, no in-app purchases and no advertising. Core app features and tax-time exports are free.

PRIVACY FIRST

Core records are stored locally on your iPhone. Optional cloud backup uses your own private Apple iCloud / CloudKit account. Auto Logbook does not operate a server that receives your trip history.

BACKGROUND LOCATION

Automatic trip recording requires location permission because the app needs to detect vehicle movement and record routes while the app is not visible on screen. Automatic recording can be disabled at any time.

Auto Logbook is an independent record-keeping tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of the Australian Taxation Office. The app does not lodge tax returns and does not provide tax advice.
