### 3/5 — Good companion to desktop app

*2022-11-17, version 1.1*

I think the app gets a bad review b/c people expect the whole HDR package but, this app does well to take three different bracketed photos that you can merge with more powerful desktop apps.

### 2/5 — Please update

*2019-02-03, version 1.1*

I love this app until iOS 11. I used to take Bracket photos with another app (up to 15). I would use this app to combine them. Now this app will not get access to photos. I spoke to dev when this first happened and they assured me of an update to correct the issue. It feels like a year and still nothing. I did pay for the app and I thing they should provide support for iOS 11. Like they told me they would.

### 3/5 — Problems using IPhone XS Max

*2018-11-16, version 1.1*

I have loved this app using it for the first basis of my hdr images. The app still takes the three pictures, but where it use to combine the three with adjustments has disappeared on the new phone. Instead it puts in your picture folder. Any suggestions?

This was also one of my favorite apps, which I used all the time. It now doesn’t work with the new IPhone X’s Max. It doesn’t combine the three pictures as before. Wish the developer would upgrade app, even if I have to pay for it. It was my favorite app!

### 1/5 — Does not work with iPhone X

*2018-10-15, version 1.1*

Does not work with iPhone X keeps giving a message about updating privacy settings

### 1/5 — Oh no!

*2018-08-12, version 1.1*

Just downloaded without first looking at update history. The current version is three years old! Not surprisingly, the app fails to save anything because it claims it's been denied privacy access to Photos. (Untrue... repeatedly downloaded and verified that it's being granted access.) Obsolete code.

### 1/5 — Can’t save

*2018-06-24, version 1.1*

Can’t save photos in IOS 11. Needs update!

### 1/5 — Problems

*2018-06-22, version 1.1*

Got problems with photo saving to my phone please fixe it

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work With IPhone X

*2018-03-10, version 1.1*

You cannot save a photo taken with iPhone X. Regardless of the privacy setting, the app thinks it doesn’t have access to the photo album (even though it does). Deleted and reinstalled. No change. Useless.

### 1/5 — Fails

*2018-01-31, version 1.1*

In sales to write and it says it lacks permission to do so. I followed the instructions went to settings, photos and made sure it was turned on. It’s still fails

### 1/5 — Can’t Save Photos in iOS 11

*2017-11-29, version 1.1*

After updating to iOS 11 I can no longer save any photos I take in this app. I get an error message saying I’ve denied the app access to my photos, which is not true. I’ve checked and toggled my permission settings and reinstalled the app multiple times to no avail.

### 1/5 — Could be good but...

*2017-11-28, version 1.1*

App says that I have to change privacy settings but has no bearing on its function

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work on ios11

*2017-11-09, version 1.1*

It doesn’t get write access to the photos so it’s useless.

It needs updated but hasn’t been in 3 years apparently :( waisted money

### 1/5 — Have no idea how great the pics are...

*2015-04-18, version 1.1*

...because it has crashed every time I try to take one! Doesn't work on my iphone6+. Please fix!

### 2/5 — Crashes constantly

*2015-03-29, version 1.1*

Doesn't work at all on 8.1

### 2/5 — No matter what I do, app crashes

*2015-01-07, version 1.1*

App constantly crashes after taking the bracketed exposures. Tried everything. Uninstalling and reinstalling. Force quitting all apps. Rebooting the phone. Nothing works. Can't trust the app to take more than one or two photos before crashing. I keep waiting for an update but none of the updates fix the issue. This happens on both my iPhone 6+ and iPhone 5.

It's a shame because when it works Autobracket takes terrific HDR photos.

One other thing. If the developers ever get the app working, I would like it if they allowed you disable automatic saving of the three exposures.

Two stars because the photos it manages to successfully save look great.

### 1/5 — Does not work on iOS 8.1

*2014-12-29, version 1.1*

App says it does not have access to save photos even though it does. Cannot take photos with this app. iPad Air 2.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — NOT compatible with iOS 15.5

*2022-05-18, version 1.1*

Cannot select photo album

### 1/5 — Hoping I hear from them

*2021-07-25, version 1.1*

Both apps simply won’t work. Awaiting their reply. Hopefully they support their apps

### 1/5 — Forget this

*2019-07-31, version 1.1*

When one tries to use this a pop up occurs saying access was not granted. Go to privacy-photos and grant access YET the app does not appear. It does appear in camera and is turned on BUT one can not take photos. Rip off!!!!

### 1/5 — Fail

*2019-06-23, version 1.1*

Needs update. Doesn't work. Won't do anything, doesn't send request to system to use camera. Can't'allow it to use the camera, of it's not even in the list. Fail.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work on latest iOS

*2019-06-06, version 1.1*

The app doesn’t correctly request camera permissions, so it doesn’t show up in the privacy page of settings as a target to grant camera access to. Pretty much defeats the purpose of a camera app...

### 1/5 — Won’t work - period.

*2019-03-19, version 1.1*

No support. There is no way to grant permission for this app to work! It does not appear in the privacy settings.

### 1/5 — Do not purchase

*2018-12-12, version 1.1*

This app does not work on current releases. Read all the reviews (I should have). There are issues with privacy setting. Only bracketing app I found and am dissapointed it doesn't work. Emailed support and received no response.

### 1/5 — App won’t allow camera access

*2018-11-26, version 1.1*

When I opened the app, it told me to go to settings, privacy, camera to enable access to my iPhone 8 camera. But the app doesn’t show up on the page for me to enable. Must be a flaw in programming. They should test all this before releasing it.

### 1/5 — Will not save to my photos

*2018-11-18, version 1.1*

Even though I gave it access, it will not save to my photo album.,iPhone 8 with latest IOS. So, a complete waste of money for me. How do you get a refund? Companion app, True HDR, works beautifully.

### 1/5 — Privacy in iOS11 is an issue

*2018-10-18, version 1.1*

Can’t use this in iOS 12. App sends up a message that it wants access to photos, but the privacy settings are a choice between “Never” and “Add Photos Only”. There’s no “full” access or “read and write” access that some other apps have.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — high flexibility and quality

*2016-09-24, version 1.1*

own several HDR apps, but this is one of the main ones I use due to its adjustability/flexibility. Its the only app that allows you to adjust the exposure range against a histogram prior to shooting. All the regular post production controls are there, contrast brightness shadow highlight saturation etc. Recommended.

### 5/5 — In my top 3

*2016-09-13, version 1.1*

This app has become my number 1 go to photo app, beats out my canon 5D I use this app on my iphone 6plus, cant wait to use it on a 6 s or the new 7, has never failed me and has "NEVER CRASHED" easy to use just point and shoot. I would recommend to friends and strangers, never to family 😊

### 5/5 — Best HDR app

*2015-12-18, version 1.1*

I am really impressed with this app. Takes better HDR pictures than any other app I have tried. Takes 3 pictures and then combines them.

### 5/5 — One of my favorite photo apps!

*2014-11-24, version 1.1*

I love the photo compositing and I use the parameter controls all the time to get striking effects. Perfect!

### 5/5 — Works great for me

*2014-11-14, version 1.1*

The app works nicely and I haven’t had any crashes. I’m using a 5s on iOS 8. I especially like the slider with which I can adjust not only the center exposure but also the high/low ones.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2014-10-25, version 1.0*

But it crashes when you hit the shutter button. IOS 8.1 / iphone 6 plus.

### 5/5 — I am glad they made dedicated app and not there it away

*2014-10-13, version 1.0*

This is part of the TruHDR. I like this feature but they removed it after the upgrade to 3.0. I am glad they did not throw it away but may be better is to make an option to choose within the TruHDR app. Thanks team.

### 5/5 — This is better!!!!!!!

*2014-10-12, version 1.0*

This more like the real thing guys, I like that three images are being bracketed. I am not sure that was happening with TrueHDR, always had two images show up to merge. No third ever on the iPad. This app is true hdr, I am sure in future iterations the controls will tweaked. I use Photomatix and HDR efex both on the desktop. This was an exciting release!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

### 4/5 — Current version

*2016-06-21, version 1.1*

Works great. IPhone6s.

### 4/5 — It´s great, but a couple of suggestions

*2014-10-11, version 1.0*

I really like this app. Actually in my opinion is an improvement of trueHDR which has been MY app for HDR, but working with the autobracket feature now removed from trueHDD and the speed gain was just great.

Would like to ask or suggest:
a) Make optional the merge? question.
b) Add an option to save after the merge without asking.
c) Add an option to prevent saving of the original pics.
d) Add an option to return to home without warning.

These would make the app flow just like the original iphone camera app and enable a smoother user experience. Too much questions=lost time.
