I’m a private pilot and ground school instructor. Teaching barometric subjects like pressure and density altitude can be challenging.  The accuracy and ease of use of this app make a check of manual calculations quick and effective. Great interface, solid choice of units and fail-safe operation make this a must-have for pilots.

In exceptionally hot weather I wanted to be certain that my plane would have the performance to clear the woodland on the horizon. 
On a hot day, my aeroplane accelerates more slowly in the takeoff roll from an airstrip or altisurface. The plane would need to move faster to attain the “normal” lift, and would climb more slowly. The less dense the air, the less lift, the more the plane staggers in the climb. 

This App allowed me to make the correct decision. Brilliant!

Trotz Kauf und Versuch die Käufe wiederherzustellen , passiert nichts. Werbung besteht weiterhin.

Im Prinzip ist dies eine 5-Sterne App, weil sie tut was sie soll, ABER - es gibt von mir 4 Punkte Abzug für die grottige Implementierung der Google Ads ohne offensichtliche Möglichkeit den in der Liste aufgeführten In-App Kauf zum Werbung entfernen auch durchführen zu können.

Leute, so nicht! Dann nehmt gleich ehrliche 0,99 € für die App und spart euch diesen ganzen Scheiss mit GoogleAds!

**Developer response:** Die Option zum Abschalten der Werbung erscheint nach dem antippen des Info-Buttons links neben der Anzeige des QNH. Aber auch bei eingeschalteter Werbung bleibt das Werbebanner ausserhalb der Bedienelemente, so dass die App im Einsatz schnell und sicher bedienbar bleibt. Eine ganzseitige Anzeige wird lediglich sporadisch beim Anfordern der Flugplatzdatenbank angezeigt. Wem das abschalten der Anzeigen zu teuer ist, kann die App so trotzdem gratis nutzen und hilft auf diesem Weg den Betrieb unseres Meteoservers aufrecht zu halten.

It works to get the den alt for your location or the closest weather station, but if you want the den alt for some other place you can't do it.  Not very useful.

The app works well, the only draw back is the automatic update it doesn't seem to work well, I live next to an international airport but it updates from locations 300+ kilometers away. Can this be looked at to avoid the distortion if information due to the distance ?
