Having logged in on a browser I'm encouraged to use the Construction Cloud app by an annoying banner at the top of the page. Great idea! I click it...the app opens...and returns me straight back to the browser window. Try again, same thing happens. Forever. ### 1/5 — Camera zoom out *2025-09-04, version 7.61.2* Really wish there a way to zoom out your camera in the app. It’s hard to capture overall progress photos when zoomed in so tight. Android and iPhone come with automatic password sign in, why go through third-party to sign in app? App doesn’t give you option to not use third person app. Must be owned or sponsored by that company ### 2/5 — Mediocre Project App *2025-04-18* As an Architect who uses Autodesk software every day, I would expect their project app would be able to efficiently display project photos and sheets correctly for markups. Unfortunately that is not the case and the user interface is a complete let down. All you need to do is turn your phone to landscape mode to see how terrible the interaction with sheets and markups. It makes absolutely no sense why there is no way to share a PDF sheet either. Taking and viewing project photos in the photos section is also just as bad an experience. The files section is only a viewer and does not let you share files with project team members so it’s basically useless. Maybe one day Autodesk will get the app up to par with their competitors but don’t cross your fingers. ### 1/5 — Use Internet Browser, Avoid App *2025-03-05, version 7.48.0* This app is horrible and full of bugs/issues. You have t resync and start over anytime you switch programs. It downloads excessive unnecessary amounts when syncing even when every option is disabled. Save yourself time and frustration by just using an internet browser. ### 1/5 — No backwards compatibility *2025-01-10, version 7.18.1* Not sure why, but now I cannot use this app on this iPad. The iPad works fine and has plenty of storage. Now this app will force me to buy a new iPad just to function. This is unfortunate. We are paying a lot of money for the software that was working just fine. Selon moi, l’application à comme but de rendre le logiciel plus pratique et accessible en effectuant des tâches lorsqu’on est à l’extérieur du bureau. Malheureusement, je dois quand même prendre des notes et attendre d’être retourner au bureau pour pouvoir utiliser plusieurs fonctionnalités, ce qui fait parfois attendre mes collègues et nuit à l’efficacité des opérations. If you want it to do anything useful, it’s rubbish *2024-10-15* The most basic features like adding pictures as comments is not in use here, you can’t mark up your model. Adding others to the project doesn’t always add them. My account has been split in two, I have access to different projects depending where I sign in. Who has enough storage on their phone to download tens of thousands gigabites of data on ACC. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2026-06-24, version 8.6.0* If I could give 0 stars, I would. If you are a GC and looking to use this for your projects, DON’T. Tasks that should take 2 clicks and 30 seconds turn into spending 5 minutes. Nothing within the platform speaks to each other, and even the most basic of functions (like specification numbers populating for submittals) is unavailable! You constantly have to refresh the app if you’re on mobile (as many supers are) to see changes. When I letter free hand, it interprets this as tapping and zooms in and out. I have turned off all zoom and gesture features with no avail. This super frustrating and poor UI. The app has all of the features we need to effectively collaborate at construction. The tools are built to visualize and act on critical opportunities presented in the field. As a field user of both apps, literally side by side, on my iPad, I can assure you this is the best. I have created hundreds of QA, deficiency, and punchlist inspection reports, in the past several years, and nothing comes close. I was introduced to PB about two years ago, and I could not make it through one day without it now. Having an entire set of prints with me, right here in my tablet at all times is awesome. Not to mention being able to pull up an RFI, to discuss an issue while half a mile from the trailer is top notch. I haven’t even began to talk about the ability to take and log photos at the push of a button, “literally”…push of a button.. what’s that you say,?? Can I edit photos and markup prints?? The answer is yes. Everything you need is right here on PGBuild. It's fantastic to know your work has been made easier and more efficient. ### 5/5 — PlanGrid *2022-12-14* PlanGrid has been a great app. When it was originally launched prior to being purchased by Autodesk, they took field input & implemented the changes along with listened to what issues were found & corrected them. The system still works good but there is one bug that I reached out to PlanGrid to get fix but they haven’t corrected it. This issue is when writing on the pics or on the drawings with the Ipencil, it detects the palm of the hand & creates a line from hand to tip of pencil.
