## What is Autoinmunes?

Esta APP contiene las pautas de tratamiento utilizadas en la Unidad de Enfermedades Autoinmunes del Servicio de Medicina Interna del Hospital Universitario Cruces (Osakidetza, Servicio Vasco de Salud). Está dirigida a clínicos de cualquier especialidad (Medicina Interna, Reumatología, Dermatología, Nefrología, Hematología, Obstetricia, Neumología...) que atiendan a pacientes con enfermedades autoinmunes sistémicas. 

En ella se detallan cuestiones como las dosis iniciales de glucocorticoides, las pautas de descenso, los tratamientos de primera y segunda línea, la actitud ante pacientes refractarios y la duración de los tratamientos. Se trata de la primera APP de estas características que se puede descargar de forma gratuita. Está disponible en castellano, euskera y, próximamente, en inglés. 

Nuestro objetivo es ofrecer una guía de tratamiento accesible, basada en las guías generalmente empleadas, pero con un gran componente añadido proveniente de nuestra experiencia clínica diaria. Pretende ser práctica y detallada, de forma que los profesionales médicos puedan dar una mejor respuesta a muchas de las situaciones que se plantean en el abordaje farmacológico de los pacientes con enfermedades autoinmunes. 

Con todos los matices a los que obliga este complejo grupo de enfermedades, hay dos principios básicos sobre los que se construye todo lo que vais a encontrar en esta APP:
1.- No es necesario utilizar dosis altas de Prednisona en el tratamiento de pacientes con EAS.
2.- Como receta general: usa pulsos (de Metil-prednisolona) y combina tratamientos (antipalúdicos, inmunosupresores) para empezar por dosis de Prednisona más bajas y poder reducirlas deprisa.
