## What is Automata?

The Proof of Machinehood Native App helps verify trust in the devices we use daily. Users create a unique device attestation, which is recorded on the blockchain. This attestation is a digital proof that confirms the authenticity of a specific device. 

Anyone can request an attestation of the device before interacting with it to validate its integrity. 

Machines that have been endorsed by Proof of Machinehood allows for trusted interactions:

- Device is uncompromised and secure 
- Device properties are legitimate and not spoofed 
- Device provides up-to-date attestations 
- Device identifiers are accurate 
- Device private keys are secure and not extracted for rogue devices
