Automate Pulse is an easy to use interface used to configure and control motorized window shades using the Automate "ARC" radio motor platform. Whether you are at home or away you can accurately control your shades via the animated interface on your smartphone. Bi-directional communication allows you to visualize the exact positioning of your internal and external shades while also allowing you to check the battery health of your wirefree motors. Getting started is simple via the easy to follow setup wizard. Create rooms, set timers & scenes for optimum comfort and allow Automate PULSE to take control. Talking to support wasn’t helpful. Reinstalling it didn’t work. Resetting the phone didn’t either. Getting a new hub didn’t work. ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-01-19, version 1.1.30* Don’t bother. The app is clearly not maintained and should be removed. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2025-12-07, version 1.1.30* Abandonware. Company won’t respond so we’ll see if a bad review might prompt a response. ### 1/5 — Zero support, zero ability to use app *2024-10-01, version 1.1.30* The help button in the app just takes you to a general Rollease Acmeda website and every time I try to set things up nothing I enter is stored. I’ve set up Somfy, Lutron, Hunter Douglas hubs and never had problems like this app. It’s like they abandoned it but left it up on the App Store. ### 1/5 — Disappointing products *2023-12-07, version 1.1.30* Set up the hub and connect to the shades are not easy. I went through many trial and error. When it finally works, one of my four shades would lose connection with the hub once a week. I have to use the remote a few times to trigger the shade and then it would reconnect with the hub. The interface is OK, but since I use Apple HomeKit, I don’t use this app often unless the hub drops connection with one of the shades again. In Nov, they emailed me and saying that I have to mail the hub to them to fix an issue related to the v1.9.0 firmware, and the process will take two weeks. When it is fixed, I will have to go through the setup nightmare again. I won’t recommend their products, app and shades. There are several other HomeKit compatible shades on the market with similar price, and my friends have those; they don’t have as much issues as I have with Rollease. ### 1/5 — Working on 16.6? *2023-07-30, version 1.1.30* Not sure what’s going on but I lost all Rooms and Scenes after updating to IOS 16.6. My wife’s phone running on 16.5.1(c) has no issues. Thoughts?? ### 1/5 — Should be easier than this. *2023-02-04, version 1.1.30* Having trouble connecting app to blinds via hub.
