## What is Automechanika Frankfurt?

The Navigator-App is the official guide for visitors of Messe Frankfurt’s Automechanika .
It contains all the official information of the organizer, even without an internet connection you will find information in the exhibitor search, events and fairground.

The app offers the following features (Please note that some features might be deactivated temporarily):

Exhibitors: search for companies and products, filter and sort functions available, also find contact persons ad exhibitor events. Add Photos and Notes to an exhibitor and share them.
My ticket: As a visitor, you can load your online ticket into the app and use it for admission and as a digital business card. A printed ticket is still required to use public transport.
Networking: Get in contact with further fair attendees. Filter for relevant new business partners and contact them directly.
Fairground: floor plan with booth details. Find your favorites within the hall plan with the quick finder.
Events: everything that’s happening during the show like special exhibits, conventions etc. Add them to your personal calendar or add them to your personal watchlist. Add Photos and Notes to an event and share them.
News: with press releases and social-media-channels
Favourites: your favorite companies and events at a glance, synchronize your favorite exhibitors from our online customer center (requires Messe-Login)
Scanner: scan functionality for QR-codes, scan QR-Codes on the visitor badges and import this data in your contacts
The app menu allows you to customise your settings regarding the app analysing, find opening times and further information on travelling to Messe Frankfurt, as well as privacy policy and terms of use.
The Navigator App is available as a free app.

Es fehlt aber noch ein persönlicher Ablaufplan für die Messezeit mit Notizfunktion

Das ist die schlechteste App für Messeplanung überhaupt. Da wurde sich keine Gedanken zur den Produktkategorien gemacht. Manche existieren mehrfach, z.B. „Notrufsysteme / eCall“ vs. „Emergency Call (eCall)“. Teilweise sind keine Firmen innerhalb einer Kategorie gelistet, wenn sie ausgewählt hat. Dann könnte man sich die Kategorie eigentlich sparen.

**Developer response:** Hallo MisterTS, die Produktkatgorien werden von der Messeleitung festgelegt. Ich gebe Ihren HInweis über die Nichtverständlichkeit aber gern an die Messeleitung weiter. Kategorien, denen noch keine Aussteller zugeordnet sind, werden angezeigt, da es eine Übersicht über alle vorhandenen Kategorien geben soll, um sich bspw. als Aussteller für diese Produktkategorie entscheiden zu können. Eine nützliche Erweiterung für Gäste in 2 Jahren wäre tatsächlich die Möglichkeit Notizen zu den Besuchen einzutragen.
Ansonsten, absolut gelungen zur Information vorweg und während der Messe.
