They started off ok. Over the years it has been increasingly worse. They started with reducing the text alerts you can receive. Most recently we get notifications at 3 and 4am that there is a false trip start. Contacted them and they said it’s fixed. We’ll it’s not. I’ve contacted to end the service and no response and it’s been a week. I’d recommend getting a tracker from a cell company. It will probably save you money. ### 1/5 — Company has disappeared from support *2023-02-13* I don't have my devices anymore but being renewed and rebilled for them. The app has no way of managing your devices or billing. Very deceptive practice. ### 1/5 — DO NOT USE THEM *2020-04-15* This company is a bunch of liars and thieves. Seth set us up on a dealer account and offered two devices to use as demos and we wouldn’t be charged for it. I repeatedly asked him if he wants them returned and Seth said no continue to use them. Come to find out they have been charging my account $36.00 a month for the devices. When I confronted Seth about he it said he would take care of it and that was months ago. Kept telling me he was working on it and now Seth is gone and the company refuses to return the almost $400 they took from us. Other devices that we sold for them as a dealer, they were supposed to setup a billing for those individuals which they never did and took money from my account for those devices as well. This company is fraudulent! Do NOT use them! ### 1/5 — Will not stop charging for service *2020-04-13* We were misled by a rep for the company who no longer works there. They keep charging us for units never owned and will not refund the money. Beware! ### 1/5 — Shady Business Practices *2020-02-04* In 2019 I got a tracker for my trailer. I was supposed to be charged 79.99 instead I was charged 99.00. Further the quick connect cable was backwards so I bought my own so not to have confusing wiring. I sold that trailer and had already ordered a second tracker which quit working. In November they said they would send me one. About a week later I got a message saying my card number was wrong. I had asked them to fix my invoice as again it was magically different than what we agreed to (3rd time now). Never heard back so I went with a different option. On Dec 31 I was billed and sent a new tracker I didn’t order and then today I have again been charged. I am sick of dealing with there billing. They’re great to take your sale try getting ahold of them afterwards. ### 1/5 — Hands down the worst company! *2019-11-21* Got a devise, could not active. Get getting a round around from the support. You will never get your money back. ### 1/5 — Crap *2019-08-25* Worst possible tracker ever Customer service has no clue what they’re doing, so glad I tried only one, did not buy many🥺👎👎👎👎 ### 2/5 — Needs Work *2016-02-09* I recently purchased the Automile GPS Tracking system. It generally does what it's description boasts. However, there a few distinct features that need to be addressed to make this a better functioning application. First, it asks you to manually insert most of the information. Outside of the make and model of the vehicle, you must enter color, mileage and body style. Based on your specific VIN number, the OBDII port has all of that information stored in it. But the Automile fails to obtain this for some reason. Secondly, the mapping will intermittently place your driving as erratic at best. It misrepresents your location(s) and often identifies you somewhere in a park or making random U-Turns throughout your trip. Additionally, the use of live updating would be vital here. Instead of it refreshing itself every 15 minutes or so. A lot can happen within that time, so something a bit more sensitive to that would be great. Lastly, one of the most sellable features is the ability to find your vehicle if you happen to forget where you parked. When you attempt to use the ability, the app freezes and you are forced to reboot and ultimately repeat the insanity of trying to complete the process. This app could be great. Per usual, it all comes down to the details. ### 3/5 — Wish they made an iPad app *2018-10-10* Hello, wish you made a native iPad app. Data entry would be easier if I can get on a bigger screen. ### 4/5 — Decent but can be so much better! Awesome support staff when we needed it either on the phone or chat on their site. And with their current progresses on their Field Services options, Automile will be a great suite of products for any business in the service industry that has multiple vehicles. And their contracts are month-to-month! After dealing with Fleetmatics’ ways of auto-renewing and other used car salesman tactics Automile was a breath of fresh air. ### 5/5 — LOVE this app! *2017-01-23* I've been using Automile for over a year now, and it's great. The app has been so useful in getting all my vehicle stats in one place. And it's accurate- which hasn't been the case with other brands I've used in the past. Automile also started me with a free 60 day trial with no compulsion to buy- they didn't even need my credit card details. And the support team has always been helpful- this product is going places! ### 5/5 — Get the facts about your car and your driving *2014-09-17* Easy to install and setup. Just download the app and plug in the Automile hardware in you car.
