The speed is by far better, but the overall available of functions it used to have are gone!! I've using this app for 7 years. If they don't fix this soon, myself and others in my group are going to drop them. ### 1/5 — Update broke entering VINs...no response from support *2020-05-28, version 7.0.3* Use this everyday...latest update broke it and I get no response from support. Horrible horrible horrible, Coming from an Autoniq user of 5+ years. The new Autoniq has added several steps to the process of evaluating a vin (odo entry, equipment clicks then “update” etc) and added delays to the process in the fast paced auction environment or everyday use fir the used car professionals. PLEASE GIVE ME MY OLD AUTONIQ BACK!!! I tried to send a customer the carfax by the new “share “ feature and it doesn’t work. No carfax report came out at the other end. I just did the delete and reinstall the App and the “Update” still just horrible! I’m a goner!! Adios Autoniq ### 1/5 — If I can leave a zero I would *2020-05-14, version 7.0.2* I use this everyday or at least I try and I don’t think I have ever sent so many emails and phone calls because it’s always down or something. When it works it’s great but when it doesn’t it’s terrible especially during auction time. Now the new update has come out and it’s worse than ever. If you download and actually pay for this garbage of an app you will be getting ripped off so bad. You might as well just go on simulcasts since there’s no in lane and buy blind because using this app your getting no where. You call tech support and they blame it on the vendors. BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION OR CHANGE THIS VERSION TO SOMETHING WAY BETTER BECAUSE THIS IS JUST JUNK. ### 1/5 — Please bring back the old version *2020-05-13, version 7.0.2* The update is terrible. Constantly crashes, run list is buggy, saved vehicles lists are no longer sortable. Server goes down multiple times per week. Usually during peak auction times. I pay for this app and now have to pay for another app I use as backup when this one goes down in the middle of the auction. Nothing like driving 5 hours at three AM to get to the auction then not be able to book a vehicle. Call tech support and they say ‘yeah we know, we hope to have it working again sometime today”. Go by to the old version and fix your servers or you are about to lose a lot of dealers. ### 1/5 — Better in some ways but substantially worse In more important ones *2020-05-12, version 7.0.2* Let me start by saying I’ve used this app for 6 years religiously almost my daily. And I’m technologically Savvy. The new update is better in some ways but others is horrible. It’s faster and less buggy for sure. The old version of the app even with its crashes and bugs before was usable, although sometimes inconvenient. Now, with the update if you create filters, click on a particular car, and try to go back by hitting the “back” button you are unable to navigate through the rest of your filtered items. It goes through directly to the whole lane list rather than the filtered list you just created. Takes me 5 times as long. If the problem is not fixed, I will be cancelling my 200 dollar subscription very very soon unfortunately. ### 1/5 — THEY HAVE RUINED A PERFECT APP *2020-05-05, version 7.0.2* I wish I could leave negative stars, the app was perfect, Kar buys it and destroys the entire usability and makes it virtually un-usable. If you want feedback to fix it, make it everything it was before you ruined it and it will be perfect once again. Otherwise get ready for cancellations in the tens of thousands. ### 1/5 — Updated *2020-05-01, version 7.0.2* This app was easy to use until they updated. Now everything is so hard to book bc it’s not in order and it doesn’t match KBB at all with fords. This app made mine and my coworkers job so much harder and more of a longer process. We have to write everything it has in the notes so we don’t have to rely on this stupid check boxes. Plus they don’t show the prices of each add now so I never know what the difference is when I’m trying to put it on car power. In sharing I can no longer include multiple pictures and Only MMR and Carfax summary and no black book. Might as well just send a screenshot For wholesaler while appraising I send text to multiple dealer. So the new update is useless to me. I love the app, when it works. Unfortunately, more and more often lately the app doesn’t work. I get a “server access error” message and can’t use it at all. That leaves me flying blind at the dealer sale. The company needs to begin giving free months of service to make up for the downtime they’ve been having. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Horrible user interface *2025-01-04, version 7.1.9* The newest update makes it nearly impossible to scan vins because it flips with your phone but you have to turn the scanner. What an unnecessary feature that no one asked for. Thanks My biggest hatred is still that it pauses my music when I scan a vin. It makes no sense no other app does this. The amount of money I pay for this app it should not be so rudimentary. AUTONIQ used to be the best app for a Used Car Manager to use. I closed my account and moved it all over to Vauto. Problems solved. Bids on several vehicles in one day went and south with a total of 10k in over bids. NADA was not working!!!! Don’t trust this app has its day’s where it just want to put you to work. Suddenly it won’t take my sign in info. anymore rendering the App useless. Customer service told me just down load the app again but that didn’t fix it ?? Not good ### 1/5 — New version is junk *2020-06-09, version 7.0.4* Do yourself a favor, Autoniq. Scrap the new version entirely. It gives me a blank screen, won’t scan, and does NOT work at all 90 percent of the time. You will lose all of your market share if you mess around and try to continue with the new version. Another scanner will become the new scanner and yours will be obsolete. Can you PLEASE fix the scanner, make the numbers BIGGER like it was. This App was great and now it has been completely modified and ruined. DON’T FIX WHATS NOT BROKE!! I have requested my staff to research other vin scan systems out there to possibly switch unless this can be corrected. I have spoken to many dealers and they are all complaining about the same issues since the new updates. I can’t see paying this kinda money for something that is worth less then half of what it is. I’m willing to give 2 weeks in hopes it gets fixed.
