It's a piece of trash. It stops several times and freezes when you're trying to use it a waste of money. **Developer response:** Hi Jer29111111, you can try before you buy so guess you didn't do that. Anyways, as per email, there is an updated version you can download which fixes issues with the latest OS version. ### 1/5 — NOPE *2025-03-28* I gave it a chance because I saw the devs had responded to the other 1-star with a fix. This thing will appear to work but leave you hanging right in the middle of a presentation. Getting back on track is impossible, clicking anywhere on the screen scrolls you up to a random location in your text. Great idea, poor delivery. **Developer response:** Hi there, Clicking on the screen while presenting will take you to the closest word. Clicking on a specific word will take you to that word. If you have speech recognition issues, in Settings make sure "Speech Recognition" is set to "Internet and Device" or "Device Only".... this will ensure that even if you have internet connection issues the speech will still be recognised. Another tip is to ensure your voice can be picked up clearly by your microphone - so get closer or use an external mic that is placed close to you. So I paid for the pro so I could do my 10 minute video, and then the auto scrolling decides to just quit working. It constantly freezes or just won't start. Wasting my time seriously frustrating. I went in to request a refund, but apparently you can't while the purchase is pending **Developer response:** Hi, sorry for that issue. Please download the latest version ( 3.6 at time of writing ) which solves this problem. Please reach out to the support email in app for further help. Thanks! ### 2/5 — Needs work *2024-06-19* This app is okay, but it crashes A LOT. It’s nice that it uses your voice to scroll but it also gets confused sometimes and loses your place. I tried recording multiple visits back to back and it got to the point that it would record, it would just crash. Super disappointing since I paid for the pro version. This app needs a lot of work to be useful. **Developer response:** Hi, please upgrade to latest version 3.3 and email (address in help screen) if you still have issues. Thanks! ### 4/5 — Great in concept *2023-12-17, version 1.2* It's great when it woreks, but isn't reliable enough to rely on. It sometimes gets stuck on a word and doesn't scroll forwards. Probably poor diction and too much devieation from the script on my pafrt. i like the recording aspects pf it (which I need for my college course - they like to get videos of sermons to mark). ### 5/5 — Great service, excellent app, exceeds expectations *2025-06-17* I’ve been using one of the leading teleprompter apps for a year, but struggled with keeping the text sync’d with my delivery (and yes, I have a remote). I switched to Autoprompt Pro and couldn’t be happier. It did have a bug that was a nuisance, but the developer posted a fix within 2 days after I sent support an email. I don’t think I lost any features from my previous app. The only thing to note is that if you adlib here and there, it might struggle to figure out where you are in the text. On the plus side, you can decide to adlib and elaborate, and the queue will wait for you to return to the script.
