Il sistema Autoroute utilizza due grandi realtà tecnologiche mondiali : il sistema GPS (Global Positioning System) e la rete di telefona mobile di primario gestore telefonico nazionale ( UMTS – GPRS).

Con questi strumenti il sistema è in grado di rilevare qualsiasi informazione relativa al mezzo su cui è installato ed in particolare eventi speciali come furto, incidente, rapina, avaria, ecc... .

Il "cuore" intelligente del Sistema Autoroute è costituito da un'unità centrale (hardware) compatta ed integrata di facile installazione. Infatti sistema può essere installato in modo autonomo sul principio “plug and play” rispettando il manuale d’installazione ed uso oppure presso i centri convenzionati.

Autoroute rispetta il diritto alla privacy in quanto il monitoraggio delle posizioni del veicolo su cui è installato avviene esclusivamente per fini “business to business” od in situazioni di "allarme" .

Cannot get it in English for some reason. It is in a different language and gives no information as to how to change to English. I have used an Autoroute in the past and have found it excellent, which is why I downloaded this.. There seems to be no English alternative in app store.. Shame.
