Not ideal… ### 3/5 — Good quality but Frustrating. *2024-04-21, version 3.9.9* The news articles are written well. The layout and features are good and Autosport plus is good value. But there are two things that make me want to delete the app. The first is that the no spoiler notification setting keeps resetting to give me notifications even though I’ve chosen not to be notified. This means I have had pop ups that have told me race results I have been trying to avoid seeing. I have had to turn all notifications off for the app to avoid this. Secondly the recent introduction of YouTube videos at the top of articles that auto play WITH volume ON are plain annoying. I’m sure it boosts Autosports views on YouTube by auto playing but even with my phone on silent I get a blast of the intro music on each article I open which is embarrassing when in a public space and also stops any music I was listening to at the time. I sent a feedback about this but had no reply. Please make the videos default to volume off. ### 1/5 — Advert plague *2023-06-27, version 3.9.3* 99% of the screen is taken up by adverts to the point where you struggle to find the article text. I am engaged in a long running (c6m) attempt to get Plus to work properly for me - quite often I just get a blank white screen. The in app support is useless - I’ve never got a response that way only via emails. The support team need prompting too and they have made very little progress (and don’t seem terribly bothered by it either). Update - still not working over 8 months after paying for it. Support has been woeful - nothing from them for the last five weeks. Yet again I have had to chase them. I have been an Autosport reader for probably 30 years but this is really souring my view of the publication. Update on 19 Jun - absolutely nothing from anybody in terms of helping me with this app problem on my iPhone 12, despite chasing by email every 10 days or so. Audren Devalbray and Matt Sleight are the latest to email me but they have disappeared and have not answered any emails at all for weeks. No interest shown in trying to fix my problem. It is now beginning to being bordering on the pathetic. ### 2/5 — IT’S BROKEN - AVOID ! *2022-05-09* Latest update says it’s compatible with my phone, but now it doesn’t work at all... They’ll block you on instagram for pointing out their mistakes.
