### 3/5 — Can’t unpair

*2025-10-18, version 1.0.0*

Why isn’t there an unpair option so I can reinstall my new iPhone, the app isn’t bad but when changing to a new phone it’s still encrypted to the old phone hence a unpair option is needed. PLEASE HELP ME

### 3/5 — Great app but needs update

*2025-10-12, version 1.0.0*

Please update the software to be compatible with ios26, I’ve got issues trying to re pair my ghost with this phone, I’ve sent an email off to your sales team in hopes i can get some assistance. I’ve reset my Bluetooth settings on my phone and removed all devices via ghost following the booklets instructions. It just won’t find the vehicle on this new software

### 2/5 — Stopped working in no time

*2024-12-08, version 1.0.0*

Professional installer Added to a vehicle worked great for 3 months then one day just stopped

### 3/5 — Works but could be betters

*2024-09-20, version 1.0.0*

This up does what it intends and, so far, reliably. It could be so much more secure though. How about adding iOS shortcuts support to disable it when not connected to the car’s CarPlay for example and enable when CarPlay is found? The iPhone BT range won’t be an issue then. Because of this issue my installer suggested not using the app at all.

### 3/5 — Basic and could be so much better

*2024-09-11, version 1.0.0*

How about adding iOS shortcuts integration. Then it could be 'armed' when phone connects to car bluetooth and, more importantly, disarmed when car turns off, improving security by reducing the chance of cloning and starting when phone is nearby and the owner isn't in the car. It would then effectivley replicate the function of the tag. Pretty simple.

### 3/5 — Needs updating

*2024-05-29, version 1.0.0*

Works well, but very basic, would be good to have an auto off timer so you couldn’t accidentally leave it on.

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2023-05-19, version 1.0.0*

Tried connecting it for an hour and it doesn’t find it
For a state of the art immobilizer the app lets the whole thing down

### 2/5 — Update app

*2022-12-17, version 1.0.0*

The app needs updating 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

### 3/5 — Temperamental at best, PITA at worst.

*2022-09-17, version 1.0.0*

At over 4 years old the App is in dire need of an update. Sometimes it works and the car will start, but most of the time it doesn’t, which means you have to revert to inputting your security sequence. This isn’t much of a hassle when you can take your time but, when you’re at the lights/junction and suffer a stall, having to turn off the ignition and go through the whole security process (because the App has decided it’s not going to work again) is a real PITA!

### 1/5 — Good when it connects

*2022-01-10, version 1.0.0*

Update January 2022 New iPhone doesn’t see Ghost BT (igla) so cannot connect to use app, told to contact installer, no response from him……pretty bloody hopeless all round really. Really really wished I’d never had the thing installed; waste of £500.
App stopped working and try as I might can’t get it to connect to the car’s immobiliser; wishing I hadn’t bothered having the Ghost fitted anyway as it’s a pain going through the sequence to start it every time you need it. Update- I was a bit harsh - very good support from Autowatch got me connected again but it is a bit of a rigmarole - deleting Bluetooth connection from the Ghost and reteaching it ; I’m happy again........maybe until the next IOS update? Further update 8 June 2020. It’s so unreliable that’s it’s not worth trying to rely on it; can’t get it to connect to the iPhone yet again. Think I’ll just get the Ghost immobiliser removed it’s such a pain in the backside having to go through the sequence every time I stop for a short while eg when you’re queuing at the ferry when you get moved a few hundred yards at a time every five minutes..... it’s almost embarrassing, fiddling about going through the disarm sequence. And now it seems there is no support for it as they don’t respond.

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2021-05-04, version 1.0.0*

Will not connect to app regardless of what I do. Support zero help!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t connect

*2026-06-05, version 1.0.0*

The iPhone 17 will not see the Ghost 2 so cannot connect

### 1/5 — Caused the ghost not to work

*2026-01-07, version 1.0.0*

This app has now allowed anyone to start my car without activating the ghost, ios 26.2 , I've had to uninstall and reset the ghost so it works without the app
Plz update the app

### 1/5 — Will not find let alone connect.

*2025-12-08, version 1.0.0*

I had this installed to an EV and if you get out of your car to get to the boot and back in, you have to disarm it again. It’s a headache waiting and disarming it. The app doesn’t connect with it in anyway. The whole thing is a gimmic. They are usually installed in obvious locations and thieves can pull it out and drive off. Don’t know why insurance companies require it.

### 1/5 — Shocking

*2025-08-07, version 1.0.0*

Trying to do anything to do with the app and immobiliser is horrific far too difficult to do anything not worth the hassle if you can avoid having one

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-08-07, version 1.0.0*

Don’t bother, can’t even get it to pair with ghost system.
The ghost installer told me not to bother as it hardly ever works

### 1/5 — Trevor Day

*2025-04-15, version 1.0.0*

Waste of time trying to connect to Bluetooth. No supper whatsoever.

### 1/5 — Will not find let alone connect.

*2025-04-02, version 1.0.0*

### 1/5 — Useless

*2024-04-23, version 1.0.0*

The app no longer disables the immobiliser, there’s no point having it

### 1/5 — Auto watch Ghost-II

*2023-12-04, version 1.0.0*

App doesn’t work,in fact stays live all the time, for a high end security system this it a bit worrying, it would be nice if customer services responses to emails....If you updated the app and it worked as described this would be a great product but it doesn’t...please sort this out or respond to your emails with a solution....

### 1/5 — Useless app

*2023-07-22, version 1.0.0*

Paired and worked for a week. Now doesn’t work at all. Prob is you think it’s working so you get in and try start the car. Only then you realise it hasn’t worked so you have to switch off, then on again, wait for all the lights to go off then try again using the code. An absolute pain in the A

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Stefan from SS VEHICLE SECURITY

*2026-06-21, version 1.0.0*

If anyone find it difficult to play with this app please get in contact , i m happy to help troubleshoot it , i find it very practical this app and is free !

### 5/5 — Superb

*2024-03-14, version 1.0.0*

Not shore why so many negative reviews! After having the ghost installed in my 23 plate RS3 it was annoying putting the code in each time as I use my car a lot.
App is superb it activates and de activates in seconds and best of all, I just get in and drive as normal with the app, wouldn’t even know ghost was there. Very happy
I think the problem lies with what motor you intend to use it on….

### 5/5 — Great

*2023-11-15, version 1.0.0*

Just realised that I can use the app instead off going through keying the sequence. Works really good

### 5/5 — People usually miss a step when pairing phone

*2022-01-01, version 1.0.0*

This app is very useful as it was an inconvenience having to type out the code every time. I was also having issues pairing my phone after an IOS update, but I realised I missed a step where I had to clear the devices memory (phone forced removal process). You have to change your pin code to the same pin code it’s currently set to and it will clear the internal memory. Once cleared you can pair your phone no problem.

### 5/5 — Work Perfect

*2020-11-19, version 1.0.0*

This works Perfect on my iPhone 12 Pro. Jump in the car wait a few seconds and the engine is ready to start.

### 4/5 — Needs a timer

*2026-05-02, version 1.0.0*

This works well and is a massive help if you’re in and out of the car a lot. It saves re entering the code every time you start the car, but it’s easy to forget and accidentally leave it switched on overnight.

A simple timer would eliminate this.

### 4/5 — Upgrade time

*2024-11-20, version 1.0.0*

This works well for me but it’s time for an update to be able to use with Apple Watch
For when you don’t need to take your phone with you

### 4/5 — App needs addition security feature

*2023-05-29, version 1.0.0*

The app works well for me and I haven’t had any issues. The only annoying thing is I have to always switch off the key on the app because if I leave it on the Bluetooth signal can be copied. Some feedback for autowatch and the app creators is that the app should have options to set when the key should switch off on the app I.e after 10pm or after you turn the car off etc so that the user doesn’t forget and signal isn’t cloned.

### 4/5 — Prefer previous iOS version

*2022-09-10, version 1.0.0*

Really like app, stops having to mess with buttons on startup, but iOS 15 I used to have to open / unlock phone before car would start. Now it starts as soon as phone is in car. ( I preferred having my face present rather than just phone). But really good app , install and forget

### 4/5 — Works well but could have more features

*2021-03-16, version 1.0.0*

Once connected it works well and seamless. Would love to see some more features such as enabling service mode.
