## What is Auxa?

Auxa plans every set for you. Bring the plan you already follow, or tell Auxa your goal and the days you can train and it builds one. Either way, each set's weight and reps are ready when you walk in, worked out from your last session. Hit the target, and logging the set takes one tap.

Auxa is free for good: logging, your plan and your history.

YOUR PLAN OR OURS
Already follow a plan? Build it day by day, turn workouts you've logged into days, or paste or photograph it. It is read on your iPhone and never uploaded. You keep your days and lifts; Auxa sets the weight and reps of every set and moves them up as you get stronger. Or let Auxa plan your week from your goal and your gym, and switch any time.

EVERY SET, PLANNED
Each set is planned so you finish with 1 rep left. Earn another rep or more weight, and the next session has it filled in, with a short note saying why. New to a lift? Your first set finds your working weight. Back after a break? Your first session back starts a little easier.

TOOLS FOR THE GYM FLOOR
A plate calculator shows what goes on each side of the bar. Warm-up sets come before your working sets. Rest starts on its own and counts down on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island and on Apple Watch. Swap a lift for today or for good from over 550 exercises your gym can do. Save any workout to run again.

LIFTING AND CARDIO, ONE PLAN
Easy, interval and long cardio sessions are planned around your lifting, built on what you enjoy: running, cycling, rowing, swimming, walking and more. Change today's cardio in one tap, or log extra cardio on any day. Split your week as full body, upper and lower, or push, pull, legs.

SEE YOUR PROGRESS
A Record when you beat the plan, an Up when you hit it. A strength chart and full history for every lift, sets per muscle on a body map, your goals, and your streak. Every six weeks, a recap shows what moved. Tap any finished workout to see it again: a run's route on a map, its splits and its heart rate. Share a workout or a run as a story or a post.

TRAIN WITH YOUR CREW
Start a private crew for the people you train with, up to 20, and invite them with a link or a code. Each workout becomes a post your crew can give props to and comment on, with a record or a comeback called out. Runs show their route, with the start and end hidden. The Board compares everyone against their own plan, by week, month and year. You choose what each crew sees, and everything starts off. Crews are for adults 18 and older.

YOUR LOG, YOUR WAY
Edit any past workout or cardio session. Make your own lifts. Keep a note on a lift, like seat 4, pin 3. Coming from another app? Import your history from its CSV export.

ANY GYM, ANY UNITS
Save the places you train, and Auxa rebuilds the session from the equipment there. Set any lift to pounds or kilograms, with targets in real plate and dumbbell steps. Distances show in miles or kilometers.

APPLE HEALTH, OPTIONAL
Auxa can read workouts and their routes, the distance of runs, rides, swims and rows, heart rate, heart rate variability, resting and sleeping heart rate, sleep, bodyweight, VO2 max, and the calories and protein your food app logs. It saves each lift session to Apple Health as a workout. With an Apple Watch, the report shows your heart rate through a lift and the highest reading on each exercise. A Garmin works through Apple Health too.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No ads. No tracking. Your training log stays on your iPhone, and nobody else can see it, including the developer. You can save a copy of it at any time. Crews use a free account through Sign in with Apple, asked for only when you start or join one, and what you share with a crew is kept on Auxa's server so your crew can see it. Your cardio and heart rate are shared only if you turn them on. Your sleep, recovery, bodyweight and nutrition never are.

Auxa is not a medical device and does not give medical advice.

### 5/5 — Phenomenal App

*2026-10-17*

I’ve used this app to track my gym progress, and may I say it’s also increased my motivation to get to the gym because it takes out the mental energy of planning and trying to figure out if you’re making progress. Auxa makes everything easier so I can focus on getting huge. Thanks Auxa!

### 5/5 — Fantastic workout app

*2026-10-09*

It helped me structure a workout based off my preferences. I also really like how it adjusts the weight per set according to your most recent set. I will be continuing to use this for my workouts.

### 5/5 — Great app, clear and versatile

*2026-10-08*

Makes working out easy wherever i am 💪🏼 Not a lifting person so the instructions and the video options help. The options of using equipment where i am helps me stay consistent.

## Frequently asked questions about Auxa

### How does Auxa plan my workouts?

Auxa plans your lifting and cardio by analyzing your previous sessions. It automatically fills in weights and reps, aiming for you to finish with one rep left. Adjustments are made based on your performance and muscle soreness.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.7 — 2026-10-17

New: Crews. A crew is a private group for the people you actually train with, up to 20 of you.

- Every workout you share becomes a post, with one highlight up top: a new record, a comeback, or beating last time.
- Runs, rides and walks show their distance, pace and route. A short stretch of the start and end is hidden before it leaves your iPhone, and a Home zone hides more around your door.
- Give props and comment on each other's workouts, or talk in the crew chat.
- The Board shows how everyone is doing against their own plan this week, month and year, and the crew works toward one weekly goal together.
- Add a profile photo, and give your crew a photo of its own.
- You choose what each crew sees, with five switches that all start off. Your sleep, recovery, bodyweight and nutrition are never shared.
- Report or block anyone. Every report is reviewed promptly.
- Crews are for adults 18 and older, and use a free Auxa account through Sign in with Apple.

Also new:
- One place for your plan: tap Change on Plan to pick who plans your lifts, Auxa or you. Switch Auxa's split, days, workout length, cardio and focus there, and both plans are kept.
- Pick a split and Auxa shows which ones fit your days, and can add a day for you.
- Run your split on a rolling cycle, like push, pull, legs, rest, repeat, so workouts and rest days move through the week. Or keep the same days every week.
- Log each side on one-arm and one-leg lifts. If one side lags, Auxa shows the gap, starts you on the weaker side, and can add one extra set for it until the sides even out.
- Search in Settings now answers how-to questions too, like "how do I change my profile photo", and takes you straight there.
- Missed a lift? The next morning, Auxa offers it on your next free day.
- Tell Auxa when you usually train, and get a reminder 30 minutes before.
- A small buzz when your first set finds your weight, when you set a record, and when you finish the week.
- One-arm and one-leg isolation lifts rest less: the timer starts after both sides, and each side rests while the other one works.
- Ramp up through your sets? A lighter set that blows past the rep range no longer holds your weight back. Auxa reads the weight most of your sets landed at, and stops calling a lift stalled when it isn't.
- Records count the sets you worked at, so a heavier day earns its record even when you started lighter.
- The photo editor's Cancel and Choose no longer sit under the clock.
- Editing your gym from Today always shows the workouts that change before anything moves. Before, renaming a gym could close the editor and switch the plan without asking.
- Crew chat reactions work like Messages: press and hold a message for the emojis above it and Reply, Copy and More below it, and tap anywhere to close. The chat also scrolls and reacts more smoothly.
- Crew message alerts show the sender's profile photo instead of their initial.
- A workout is one post in your crew's Activity, with its records inside it. No more separate post for every record, and the records already in your crew fold into their workout too.
- The emoji picker in crew chat is a short bar on the keyboard instead of a whole white page.

### 2.6 — 2026-10-14

New: bring your own plan. Already follow a plan you like? Add it to Auxa. You choose the days and the lifts. Auxa sets the weight and reps of every set so you finish with 1 rep left, and moves them up as you get stronger.

- Build it day by day, turn workouts you've logged into days (including ones imported from another app), or start from a copy of Auxa's plan.
- Or paste it, or take a photo of it. Auxa reads it on your iPhone, shows you each line it read, and uploads nothing.
- Auxa's plan is kept as it was, so you can switch back any time.

Every workout, one tap away:
- Tap any finished lift or run to open it. A lift shows its sets, records and heart rate. A run shows its route on a map, its splits, its climb and its heart rate.
- Today keeps the run you logged on screen, with its route, pace and heart rate.
- Recent workouts sit at the top of Progress, and on your page under your photo.
- Share a run as an image with its route on the map. The first and last stretch are hidden.

A smarter week:
- Each day now starts with your heaviest lifts that use both legs or both arms, then one-leg and one-arm lifts, then lifts that work one joint. Your plan offers the new order in one tap.
- Did a different day than planned? The day you skipped stays next, so every day of your week still happens.

Cardio, your way:
- Feel like a run instead? Tap Change on today's cardio: easy, intervals, long, or just log what you did.
- Log extra cardio on any day, even a rest day.
- Workouts from your Apple Watch are filed by what you did, so an easy run on an intervals day counts as an easy run.

Also new:
- Settings is organized into clear pages, with search.
- Heart rate on your lifts. With an Apple Watch, the report shows your heart rate through the session as a line with its average, and the highest reading on each exercise.
- Faster, even with a long history.
- Fixes: a lift that showed 0 calories in Apple Health gets its calories back, and the Watch app opens for every workout you start on your iPhone.

### 2.5 — 2026-10-11

A cleaner, calmer Auxa, with new tools for the gym floor. Every set is still planned for you.

- Three tabs: Today, Plan and Progress. Your week now lives in Plan, with done, missed and today in one list.
- "Still sore?" is asked when you tap Start, answered in one tap or skipped, and you can switch it off in Settings.
- A deload week is offered only when many of your lifts stall at once and nothing has set a record in two weeks, and the card shows those numbers.
- A tidier Today: bodyweight and what's next get a line each, and a finished workout stays finished.
- When a lift isn't available, the plan review says what changes, lift by lift.
- New tools for the gym floor: a plate calculator, warm-up sets, a rest length per lift, and a swap you can search.
- Swap a lift for good from Plan: every exercise has its own menu.
- The workout's bottom bar holds rest, with minus 30 s, plus 30 s and Skip. Log set stays above it, and Finish sits at the top.
- Save as a workout: keep any session and start it again from Your workouts, or repeat a past one.
- A This week card with your streak, and a recap at the end of every six weeks.
- Records and Ups. A Record beats what the plan asked for. An Up is the step the plan asked for, done.
- The report after a workout opens on what you did, records first, and shows how it compared with last time.
- Apple Watch: add 30 seconds or skip rest from your wrist, and log a set while rest runs. The Watch app opens when you start on your iPhone.
- Lock Screen and Dynamic Island: rest turns to Go when it ends, and the Island shows which set you're on.
- Share a cardio session as a story or a post. Heart rate and other Health numbers show only if you switch them on.
- What the words mean: every term Auxa uses, in one plain sentence. Find it in Settings, under About.
- Rides, swims and rows now keep their distance from Apple Health. Auxa asks once for permission.
- Readiness as three numbers, and each lift's chart first on Progress.
- Cut, Maintain or Gain is now in Settings, under Training.
- A shorter setup.
- Many fixes. Cardio you typed is not imported twice, a workout that didn't reach Apple Health is saved again, and the Watch picks up a workout after it restarts.

### 2.3 — 2026-10-09

Your log, your way.

- Edit any past workout: fix a weight or reps, take off a set or a lift, or delete the workout. Swipe a workout in History, or open it and tap Edit workout.
- Add an exercise to any workout from the menu next to Add set, or make your own lift there.
- Keep a note on any lift, like seat 4, pin 3. It shows on the lift every time you do it at that gym.
- Any lift you've logged now has its own chart and a list of every time you did it, on Progress, under Lifts.
- Supersets: when Auxa pairs two lifts to fit your session, the card says so, and you go straight from one to the other with one rest after both.
- A cleaner cardio screen. The session is the title, and you can switch to another kind from its menu. Your activity is already picked, every field is labelled, and stopping early is one switch.
- Swimming has its own guidance and heart-rate range, since you can't talk with your face in the water, and jump rope is planned only as intervals.
- Haven't trained yet? Turn on training-day reminders right from Today.
- Shared workouts now include a link to Auxa.
- Clearer instructions for the first set of a new lift.
- Fixed: swiping to delete a workout or a gym could close the app, and a few rare cases that could close it during a workout or an import.

### 2.2 — 2026-09-29

Auxa now builds your week around you.

• A new setup. Tell Auxa your main goal, how many days you can train and what you enjoy, and your first week is built from your answers. Want to lift and skip cardio? Pick "Just lifting".
• Cardio you actually like. Pick from running, cycling, rowing, swimming, walking, hiking, the stair climber, the elliptical or a jump rope. Your easy, hard and long sessions are built on the ones you choose, with up to five cardio days.
• A new Cardio page on Progress: minutes each week, easy and hard, plus your longest session and best pace for each activity.
• Choose how your week is split: full body on two or three days, upper and lower, or push/pull/legs on five or six days.
• Apple Watch. Log sets from your wrist with the Digital Crown, watch your rest count down, and pick up on your iPhone whenever you like. It's one workout on both.
• Edit a gym from the top of Today. Change what's there, and Auxa shows exactly which workouts would change before anything does.
• Tap any day at the top of Today to see its workout.
• Readiness now reads your heart rate while you sleep, the same number Apple Health shows for your night.
• Finish in two taps. The report opens the moment you finish, and "How did it go?" is one tap.
• Share a workout as an image, from the report or History.
• Coming from another app? Import your history from its CSV export in Settings. You can export yours as CSV too.

Also in this update:
• New lifts find your weight for you: take set 1 to 1 rep left and Auxa sets the rest of the sets from it.
• "First time" on any lift you haven't done, with a guide one tap away.
• Tap any note on a workout card to see why the numbers are what they are.
• An optional reminder on training mornings, and a Home Screen and Lock Screen widget with the days ahead.
• Send feedback from Settings. Every message is read by the person who makes Auxa.
