Not a great app I have to say. It works okay most of the time. But seems to just stop for no reason. I’m listening to music and all of a sudden it will stop. The app has lost all connection with my amp and nothing will work. Yamaha really need to fix all the bugs.

Il y a le strict essentiel mais il manque la mise en favoris de radio internet. En tout cas je n’ai pas trouvé.
Dommage.

L’appli a été géniale… à une vieille époque. Son ergonomie est devenue préhistorique et son interface a mal vécu le passage des ans.
Yamaha, il serait grand temps de la mettre à jour et de lui offrir un ravalement de façade.

Sehr gute App um über das Netzwerk eine ordentliche HiFi Anlage steuern zu können und die Musik vom Smartphone zu hören. Leider ist mir nicht klar warum sich nicht alle Titel die in der Mediathek sind abspielen lassen, obwohl sie geladen und offline verfügbar sind.

Bitte folgenden Fehler beheben:
Ich kann in der App den an/aus Schalter für Zone 2 unabhängig steuern. Möchte ich aber Zone 1 ausschalten, um nur in Zone 2 die Wiedergabe zu hören, schaltet sich der ganze Receiver aus.
Auf der Fernbedienung lassen sich über die beiden Zonen Tasten die Zonen völlig unabhängig voneinander aktivieren oder deaktivieren.
Diese Funktion bitte in der App korrigieren / nachreichen - Danke!

It doesn’t find the receiver often.  So I reset the app, reconnected the wifi, and toggled the standby setting.  When I reconnect the wifi the app will work for a day or so.

Je rencontre très régulièrement des sauts de connexion via AirPlay. La lecture se stoppe brusquement sans possibilité de reconnecter l’ampli RXA 1080. Même avec de multiples reconfigurations de l’ampli et de l’Iphone. À l’heure du streaming c’est vraiment navrant.

I have used this in the past to control the two zones of my HTR-6067 with great success. 

When something changes, like a new phone, it can be frustrating getting it to work again. Today was one of those days and I want to repeat the advice found on an older review. 

If using an iPhone make sure to check under Settings | Privacy & Security | Local Network, that Musicast is enabled. 

Everything works as expected after that.

アプリがアップデートされてから、今まで繋がっていたAVアンプとの接続が出来なくなってしまった。
AVアンプ側の設定等も確認したが時間がかかりすぎ、あまりに時間がもったいないので断念。
AVアンプ付属のリモコンに戻りました。
残念…

とても使いやすい。特によく使う入力や音場を選択するのに、選びたいボタンがわかりやすくマゴマゴしないので、操作にストレスがないです。
基本的に附属リモコンはつ使わなくなりました。
使うに当たっては、同一ネットワーク上でアンプとスマホやタブレットが接続できてないと繋がらないので、ルーターを2台以上使ってる方は注意してください。

At first I couldn’t get it to work, but the DHCP was off in the receiver network settings. Once I turned DHCP in it connected properly and it worked perfectly.

I really love this app. I recently bought a new Yamaha receiver. the RX-a4a.
I wanna say i really like the old app much better because of its simplicity and layout style. I’m a tech guy and I find the new “MusicCast” app a bit confusing. It’s a bit more complex to be honest. Maybe it’s just me. I appreciate the hard work done on the app but it’s not really anything like the old app in my opinion. I feel the less is more layout of the old one is much better.

Been using this app for five years. Very happy with it. Older version (years ago) had a bug. Contacted the developer. They fixed it and made the app better.

Tip: log into your router and assign your av receiver a static IP for reliable wifi connection.

Cette app peut être difficile à installer mais une fois qu’elle a reconnu le récepteur tout fonctionne à merveille. Et la WEB Radio aussi. Il faut au préalable mettre son ampli/ récepteur à niveau. Ensuite, dans l’app entrez l’adresse IP de l’ampli. Une fois fait ça devrait fonctionner sans problème.

Set up was a breeze. Has great features not available on my receiver remote, and makes it much easier to change receiver settings.
