When the second device stopped working after 2 months I reached out to customer service. After 25 emails back and forth they have still not sent me a new device. Trash company. Now I use it as birth control it has never steered me wrong. I did have to take chlomid along with another hormone to trigger my periods. I got pregnant the second month wearing the bracelet because i was able to know EXACTLY when my windows were to conceive. It even tells you if it detects ovulation, which was so comforting. I just KNeW I was going to get pregnant that cycle. And I did ! He’s 2 today. I’m wearing it again to try for the next baby to see if maybe my body ovulates on its own again and I can forgo the hormone pills this time. I found the ovulation testing very stressful and this bracelet is such an easy option. It’s been very helpful to give my fertility consultant the information on my temps/cycle lengths throughout my cycle. This week I’d noticed my strap had started to perish and customer service have been great; they’ve ordered me a free replacement one. Fingers crossed that my new one will bring a positive test! So after seeing advertisements for the Ava I convinced my husband that we should invest and give it a chance. What we were spending on ovulation tests every month was insane and this bracelet would pay for it’s self in no time. I was pregnant 6 weeks later, it needed on cycle to learn me and the boom the next month I was pregnant. If it wasn’t for the Ava I would have never known I ovulate late in my cycle. I continued to wear the Ava after my first child to use as another method of birth control. So when we decided to conceive our second child it only took us 3 WEEKS! We were so excited and honestly impressed! This bracelet is worth every Penny! ### 5/5 — Excellent *2020-07-10, version 1.11.0* I’ve used Ava for 2 full cycles when trying to conceive. After the second cycle we’ve found out I was pregnant! Now using the pregnancy mode which is brilliant. ### 5/5 — Very accurate *2020-04-07* Even though they don’t advertise this as a birth control method, I used it for about a year as one - on the days I was fertile my husband and I used precautions, and it worked like a charm. After about a month or so the Ava was spot on with my fertility window and when my period was expected, which allowed for a great natural method of birth control. Then, when the time came to get pregnant I knew exactly when I could conceive, and sure enough a week later I went to the doctor and confirmed I was pregnant. It is *incredibly* accurate. Just make sure you remember to wear it every night. For me it’s a little uncomfortable, but I have the older model. Also, once you get pregnant, the app is able to track your pregnancy progress and still be used to make sure you’re having a healthy pregnancy (it uses recommendations for things like where your weight should be according to how far along you are, etc.). It is definitely worth the money. And if something happens to it where it stops working for some reason, they send you a free replacement. Very good customer service. ### 5/5 — What can I say but amazing. *2019-11-02, version 1.9.12* We had been trying for a baby for over a year and a half, I stumbled across Ava and decided to take the plunge and buy the bracelet. I was a bit worried that it wouldn’t work despite looking at all the reviews. After just under 3 months of wearing Ava we have fallen pregnant. The technology is absolutely amazing and I have been recommending it to everyone. I am still wearing the bracelet while I am pregnant to keep tracking sleep and heart rate I honestly think it’s a great addition to run alongside our journey.
