Beaucoup de belles et puissantes fonctions accessibles par des menus et icônes synthétiques qui évitent la sensation de devoir errer dans une forêt trop dense. Dans les projections de croisières où régates cette application apporte de la sécurité en encadrant les paramètres de navigations saisis. Par exemple en autorisant, et sans pertes de données, des allers retours dans les fonctions, quand « ça bloque » pour raisons, par exemple, de limites ou bornes entrées précédemment. Très grand choix de modèles météo et possibilité de se projeter loin dans le futur de sa navigation en voie d’être. Belles facilités d’apprentissages pour un utilisateur nouveau. Véritable compagnon avisé … intégré de météo, routage-projection, et mise en œuvre en navigation. J'apprécie beaucoup, quand bien même ayant commencé à naviguer dans ces années où le système GPS américain Transit ( dispo. Rapidité, précision et pertinence des réponses qui me permettent de découvrir avec plaisir l’utilisation de ce logiciel. Très pertinente dans sa fonction routage en utilisant les polaires. Elle suppose cependant que le skipper est toujours au mieux de sa forme … ### 5/5 — Simple et efficace *2025-02-22* Après une rapide prise en main, l’application est simple d’utilisation et les calculs de routes sont rapides et pertinents… J’ai au début eu un petit souci pour l’installation sur un deuxième appareil (de ma faute je dois l’avouer); j’ai donc envoyé un message pour demander de l’aide et j’ai très rapidement été contacté par Philippe qui m’a résolu le problème avec professionnalisme et sympathie… ### 5/5 — TROP BIEN !!!! *2023-09-02* C’est simple, en croisière ou en course, je ne peux plus m’en passer ! Le logiciel est un peu complexe et demande de la préparation (bonne polaire, ...) mais vu tout ce qu’il peut faire, c’est normal. Comme il est conçu par des personnes qui savent naviguer, il est intuitif. Il me confirme des routages atypiques mais plus optimisés que les classiques auxquels on pense et parfois me propose une variante plus intéressante que je n’avais pas imaginée, top ! Dans les zones à courant (Manche,...), il est indispensable pour gagner du temps, ce qui est parfois un élément de sécurité (arriver avant la nuit, éviter une aggravation du temps, ramener un équipier fatigué ou malade, ...). La hotligne est efficace et réactive et les améliorations sont régulières. Je précise que je ne suis pas payé par Avalon, 🙂. ### 4/5 — Multifunctional Routing SW package *2023-05-23* I am impressed by the multifunctional routing functions and possibilities to select and choose between the various data sources for weather, wind, current, wave predictions. Also the functions to define the used boat polar diagramm and even to record your own polar while sailing. Also wireless connection to the boat’s NMEA bus is well supported. Integration of available Navionics maps data works flawless. Unfortunately, there us a remaining limitation for autorouting in “shallow” coastal or inland waters, experienced with the Dutch waters of Ijselmeer, Markermeer and parts of Waddenzee.
