Check your statements. ### 1/5 — Hidden fees, do not open any account with this bank. *2026-08-26, version 3.9.6* Worst ever!! ### 1/5 — Can never use it when I want to! *2026-08-25, version 3.9.6* I have to call every time I want to purchase something! I just tried to buy $25 of gas, to be declined! I shouldn’t have to call for every transaction! ### 1/5 — Incompetent Customer Service *2026-08-25, version 3.9.6* My CC, which was at a documented $0 balance was stolen and numerous charges were declined as well as a fraud freeze was placed on my account due to fraudulent activity. I immediately contacted Avant and they assured me that all fraudulent charges would be removed and issued me a new card. I noticed $94 in charges had posted from the SAME place and on the SAME DAY the declined fraudulent charges were-so I called. After a lengthy conversation I was given no information and told my account had been escalated. Now we’re coming up on my due date to pay a $94 balance on noted fraudulent charges and I had to call back to inform you all I would not be paying my bill. Your agent was uncaring and stated no Supervisor was available and that “I’d have to give it some time” (90 days) and that I was responsible for paying my bill (the known fraudulent charges). I disagreed. Prior to disconnecting the call in an effort to rage bait me she again reiterated I was responsible for the bill. If I don’t get a call back from a competent Supervisor within the hour I’ll be reporting you to the BBB. ### 3/5 — Customer service *2026-08-25, version 3.9.6* Customer service is pointless. They just read the script. Great loans, they give you a loan you pay it off, no problem. You do your part, they do theirs. Had two loans with them so far.
