Please report it since you work for Avast. iOS 26.6 - Avast One 26.12.0 iPhone 16 Pro Max - latest updates. First activate Web Guard. Then download ProtonVPN, connect to a vpn, then disconnect. Now open Avast One, it still says Web Guard is connected, yet if I open iPhone Settings, VPN says it’s disconnected. So users think Avast Web Guard is connected still when it’s not. This is critical!! Such bad security!! Yet Norton gives you a notification that it’s not connected, so why is Avast missing this important feature? Is it because I’m not a paid member? Either way, it’s not good enough. ### 1/5 — Rating For You *2026-07-11, version 26.11.1* The VPN is unstable ### 2/5 — Great but when Scam Guarden is enabled *2026-07-10* When it’s enabled and I open my iPhone settings, vpn, I see it’s disabled, yet Avast app says it’s enabled. So I always have to open iPhone settings and make sure VPN it’s enabled. Please fix this. Even when I install say ProtonVPN I enable that, then later I turn it off and I find Avast still says Scam Guard is enabled when it’s actually not on. **Developer response:** Hello, thanks for reporting this. Following a recent update the vault has emptied and now I’ve lost things I kept safe in there. The ‘help’ option basically says - your fault you uninstalled app. I did not. It was the update. So yeah what was once exactly what I needed is no longer something I will recommend. Try something else. Just thankful I didn’t need to access things in an emergency. Sigh. Very disappointed there’s no one to actually tell about the issue. It was during a trip out to CA whole working on finishing up final touches on some much awaited banking software . We kept getting these hidden worm viruses no one could seem to detect which would infect our whole network. One of my IT guys on the east coast who knew about these guys says Im going to send you a link. Download it run i5 in your laptop only isolate and send me the findings. In less than an hour we had completed what other major competitors claimed to do , we had paid them to do yet they were asleep at the wheel. Thanks guys for all of your many years of great customer support and patience with all of my people in the beginning.
