## What is Avatars4Masses?

This is the accompanying app for the publication "Avatars for the Masses" by Timo Menzel et al, Frontiers in Virtual Reality 2025.

This app can be used to generate a photorealistic avatar by scanning a person. The app takes photos of the person, uploads them to a compute server, from where the reconstructed avatar can then be downloaded.
