### 5/5 — Super cool

*2026-05-15*

I love being able with this app to know when to pray the hours according to the solar cycle. It’s a great way to return to a more pre-industrial rhythm of life.

If only this app was also available for Android, then so many of my priest friends could benefit from it!

**Developer response:** Android is completed but I need more test volunteers. Please email info@wttcm.com if you know an android user who can help test!

### 5/5 — Great Divine Office tool

*2026-04-19*

Love the app! It's amazing to pray the hours in line with the traditional solar day. One feature I'd love to see in future updates is a calculation of the ecclesiastical age of the moon from the Roman Martyrology.

**Developer response:** Completed in the latest release!

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.7 — 2026-10-22

New in 1.7
• iPhone Duo support. Both displays are supported, with layouts that adapt as you fold and unfold.
• Landscape layouts. In landscape, Clock shows the clock beside the day’s details and the Roman Martyrology, and Sky Map shows the map beside the solar, lunar and twilight times.
• Side by Side. See the clock and sky map together at the same size.
• Notifications. Tap the bell on the clock to open notification settings.
• Sky map. Your location is now a red pin, and the Moon’s lit side now faces the Sun.
• Accessibility. Better support for larger text, clearer contrast, and VoiceOver descriptions of the clock and sky map.
• Updated app icon and refinements throughout.

### 1.6.1 — 2026-08-31

Fixed an issue where the clock could briefly show the wrong Italian-hour period (e.g. Primo instead of Terzo/Quarto) due to an intermittent error in the solar-midnight calculation.

Fixed the "next hour" indicator sometimes showing a far-off event (e.g. tomorrow's Matins) instead of the actual next upcoming canonical hour.

Notification schedules now fully refresh each time the app is opened, so upgrading no longer requires manually toggling notifications off/on to correct stale times.

The Notifications settings list now always displays prayer times in their natural daily order (Matins → Lauds → ... → Compline) instead of reordering based on the current time.
