Privacy settings in Health on iPhone are set to give full access to the Aventon app. The app still says not connected and to update settings. Fix that and it’ll be a 5 star app. I shouldn’t have to use multiple apps to track a ride. I have a 9 year old Tuxedo Kitty that absolutely loves to go on rides with me every single day if I would let her, it’s always a eye opener when we get noticed and people realize that it’s a Kitty riding with me and not a dog. She loves it so much that she would sleep on it if I would let her. Alert system doesn't work. *2025-11-11* While I'm very happy with my Level 3, the app has been extremely problematic. The main issue is a bug that affects the notification system when the bike is tampered with. At first the bike would send alerts to the phone but the alerts would not trigger and sound. As a result, this rendered the feature useless as you had to be looking at you phone to be notified. This problem was finally fixed after months. However, the last update has not rendered to function useless once again. Not only do I no longer receive sound alerts, I no longer get alerts of any kind. This is a serious issue as the system was a selling point for me. Aventon needs to get this right, and I can't for the life of my understand why this is so hard. **Developer response:** We’re truly sorry to hear about the ongoing issues with the app notifications — especially since this feature is such an important part of your riding experience. And my pairing doesn’t appear as a result ### 1/5 — I can no longer support this brand *2025-09-24, version 1.9.2* They previously allowed increasing max speed, only to force remove it. The bike fights AGAINST you trying to go any faster with pedaling. I can no longer support this brand due to their decision to roll back previously offered adjustments to the bike. ### 1/5 — App only uses metric *2025-07-16, version 1.9.1* The idea that you must have your bike turned on in order to view your stats in miles is shocking. Once you turn off your bike, the app reverts to KM for everything. Never had this issue before and prefer to lock my phone and have live tiles on so my battery doesn’t die while riding my bike.
