All the analog cameras are viewable. When I select the IP cam in the list the view does not change. This did work before I upgraded. Bottom eight of the security cameras cannot be accessed. And the single cameras are zoomed in and don't show the entire frame. Even does this with Avers test site. My previous version had great HD but this one is very low resolution! Looks like 320 by 240 pixels. Dont upgrade. You will not be happy. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Useless App *2019-01-24, version 5.3.1029.30* This app no longer supports our security system that cost thousands of dollars to install. ### 1/5 — Worthless *2018-07-09, version 5.3.1029.30* No warning that upgrading to ios11 will make your $1000 camera system worthless. Apple of course does not care either and won’t let you downgrade nor will they offer a compatibility mode for allowing older apps. So basically you spend $1000 on a product that is essentially a glorified camera and web browser that Apple refuses to allow consumers to use the advanced features of and if you upgrade past ios10 you lose all functionality of your security system. Both companies should be sued for this. ### 1/5 — Can only use on WiFi *2018-06-27, version 5.3.1029.30* For some reason we can only view the cameras on WiFi and only certain WiFi. I can view the cameras on my phone from my work WiFi but my husband can’t view them on his WiFi at his company. We had Sprint carrier and just switched to T-Mobile and have had issues with this app ever since. What a pain in the butt and Apple is at fault as well, at least Microsoft has backward compatibility but Apple?? No you just “out of luck”. ### 1/5 — Company dissolved their security department *2017-12-09, version 5.3.1029.30* I spoke to avermedia, they advised no additional support was going to be offered as they dissolved the security department. So the only way to monitor your $500 system remotely is with I.E. and only on windows 7 or lower. They essentially screwed over tens of thousands of customers. And they do not care. I used to only refer people to avermedia, now I will never buy anything they manufacture again, because they have proven that they may stop supporting without even bothering to advise people (people who have registered a product) that they were no longer supporting their products. I am really annoyed because I had to settle for a prebuilt setup because I have to have cell phone access to remote viewing. It’s like it is trying to show widescreen and has to create a narrow letterbox view.
