## What is AviaGPS?

Your iPhone’s GPS. Your iPad’s bigger picture.

AviaGPS shares your iPhone’s GPS position with ForeFlight on a separate iPad over local Wi-Fi like a hotspot. Bring the devices you already use together with a focused app built for simple setup and easy GPS position sharing.

CONNECT WITH CONFIDENCE
Follow the guided setup, connect your iPhone and iPad to the same trusted Wi-Fi network, and open ForeFlight on your iPad. AviaGPS sends your position to each ForeFlight receiver it discovers on your local network, up to eight, so there’s no receiver to pick.

SEE YOUR STATUS AT A GLANCE
See your GPS status, estimated accuracy, and discovered ForeFlight devices with their connection status at a glance. Open Sharing Details for coordinates, altitude, ground speed, track, and GPS fix age.

CHOOSE YOUR PRO PLAN
AviaGPS is free to download. Unlock position sharing with either plan:
• Monthly: an auto-renewing monthly subscription, with a two-week free trial for eligible subscribers.
• Lifetime: a one-time purchase for Pro access during the commercial life of AviaGPS.
Both plans unlock live GPS sharing from your iPhone to ForeFlight on a separate iPad, automatic receiver discovery, and GPS status and sharing details. Monthly provides access while subscribed. Lifetime provides the same features for the commercial life of AviaGPS. Restore Purchases is available in the app. No AviaGPS account is needed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
• An iPhone with iOS 16 or later.
• A separate iPad with ForeFlight and any required ForeFlight subscription, obtained separately.
• A trusted Wi-Fi network connecting both devices.
• Precise Location and Local Network access enabled on your iPhone.

Your local price and trial eligibility are shown before purchase. Monthly renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before it ends. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Manage or cancel your subscription in Apple Account settings.

AviaGPS is an independent app from Norvane Systems Ltd. ForeFlight is a separate third-party product.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-10-24

• While sharing is on, AviaGPS now retries automatically when the connection to ForeFlight drops, for example when Personal Hotspot turns off and back on.
• AviaGPS now sends to every ForeFlight device it finds on the network, up to eight, so you no longer choose one. The main screen shows each device’s status.
• In the background, sharing now stops after 60 minutes without detecting ForeFlight, instead of 10.
• AviaGPS now keeps a log of recent connection events on your iPhone, without your position. To share it with support, use Settings & Help → Sharing Details → Export Diagnostics. AviaGPS doesn’t upload it automatically.

### 1.2 — 2026-10-16

• Monthly subscribers can now upgrade to Lifetime in Settings & Help.
• If you own Lifetime and your Monthly subscription can still charge you, AviaGPS reminds you to cancel it.
• After a reinstall, AviaGPS checks for your existing purchase before showing purchase options.
• Pro keeps working offline. AviaGPS needs a connection to start a new sharing session only after more than two weeks without verifying your purchase, and it never interrupts a session in progress.
