### 3/5 — Needs an update!

*2026-02-24, version 4.3*

I have been using this app for years now to continue studying, but I’ve notice that there have been quite a few updates, especially within the past year that are not translated into the flash cards and publications. The pubs definitely need a scrub to put out the latest information affecting our aviation formations. Please update the app and I’ll change the rating to 5 star. It really hurts me to rate it 3 star but when people are paying or have payed for an app, they expect it to be kept up to date!

### 4/5 — Needs to hold your place

*2025-06-09, version 4.3*

I love the concept but I hate how the flash cards start over every time you open the app

### 4/5 — Great app just no updates

*2023-03-27, version 4.3*

This app is a really great app however the last update was 2020 and as an aviator it would be so great to get the most updated pubs if possible

### 3/5 — Good layout but the Apache cards need revised

*2021-02-03, version 4.2*

As far as the AH-64 is concerned there are some major changes that need to be made for it to be useful. The only cards I can use at the moment are the E EP’s/limits and anything that is non aircraft specific. All the rest of the cards are written for the D model I.e. ATM, systems etc. That also makes it so that the APART button (which is a great idea) is useless because it will mix both airframe numbers together. I can’t speak for the other airframes but there needs to be a way to access all the E model stuff separately from the D model and an APART selection for each. If that were the case than this would be a 5 star app.

### 4/5 — Awesome App, Needs Minor Tweaks

*2020-05-02, version 4.2*

This is incredibly helpful, love the app. However, I would really like to see the ability to star certain flash cards in a given subject and just be able to study those specific cards if desired when I open the subject instead of filtering through all cards each time. Additionally, the ability to save a location in a card deck would be a tremendous help, there’s 1070 flash cards on the AH-64 APART deck, it’s incredibly inconvenient for it to reset every time I back out and then go back into it. No one is going through 1070 cards in one sitting.

### 3/5 — Student handouts???

*2019-11-13, version 4.1*

App is great but missing the student handouts. Please bring them back.

### 3/5 — Great app.

*2019-01-02, version 4.1*

Currently in flight school and wish I would have found this sooner! Wondering when the CH-47f portion will be available since that’s what I just selected for my advanced airframe.

Update 2 Jan 19: When is the 47 study option going to be available!?!? Done with flight school and at my first unit as a pilot and it's still not ready!?!?

### 4/5 — Waiting for CH-47F

*2018-11-14, version 4.1*

This app was a fantastic resource throughout primary. The information was in depth and relevant to not only the UH-72, but also in general aviation knowledge. The format and layout is helpful and user-friendly. The only gripe that I have is that the CH-47F does not have any resources yet and there is no indication of how far out that possibility is. I will gladly come back and change my review to five stars once that is not the case.

### 4/5 — Good app.

*2018-04-03, version 4.1*

I like this app and have used it for a little over a month now. It is relatively easy to use and mostly accurate. I would recommend this app to my fellow aviators. A few things that I would change if I could would be:
1. Add the ability to edit flash cards (I use different acronyms occasionally)
2. Add an in app feature to report inaccurate/outdated information.
3. I don’t think the back button on the flash cards instead of a swipe from the left is very user friendly.
1&3 might just be my preference, but please add 2.
Thanks!

### 5/5 — Nothing but the best!!!

*2018-03-03, version 3.1.1*

So, where to begin.

First, I'm a student in the 64D course and every pub is there. Every handout is there.

I just open the app and bam! All knowledge!

I once emailed you able PPC info. Forget that email, the info was there the whole time! I Have noticed that it would be more convenient if you could add the ability to select which cards to turn on or off within a given subject. Also, the flash cards on the EPs are not fully showing like they were before. One side is present the other is not. Unless I left the switch on "Hard Mode". J/K. Please fix soon. I really love this app!!!! And the more insight I can provide or anything else I notice I will mention for the best.

### 1/5 — Still waiting

*2019-10-31, version 4.1*

The CH-47 flashcards have been “Coming soon” for a long time. As someone who transitioned to the 47 from 60’s, I was really hoping they’d be here in less than a year. Guess I’ll wait another year and continue to not use the app.

Update: October 31 now. Still no CH-47 cards. Come on guys. Either get them done or don’t continue to give false timelines.

### 1/5 — Can not buy it with out student handout

*2019-06-16, version 4.1*

This app does’t it have a student handout NOW that mean this app doesn’t deserve one star I’m sorry but this is the truth everyone of us download this app for the student handout if it’s not here then no benefit ....

### 1/5 — Scam. Do NOT Purchase !!!

*2019-04-24, version 4.1*

EDIT: Okay, now they have removed the student handouts! Why? Because of “security reasons” and “disclaimers”. Look, with how much I paid for this app, the developers should have the time and financial freedom to redact any “sensitive” information from the handouts AND the -10. I’ve been flying hawks as a civilian, for civilian operators, for the last 7 years. There is nothing sensitive about it. Hell, the ARMY has released them to the civilian population WITH the -10’s. Sikorsky sells them to foreign militaries! Stop hiding you shady business practices and lazy work ethic behind fabricated confidentiality claims.

Pretty good study app. I purchased it assuming the H60 -10 was included.(main reason for purchase). It is not. My fault for not researching app more thoroughly.

### 1/5 — No student handouts

*2019-04-02, version 4.1*

If there are no handouts then try to justify why your still charging a huge price????? You can take our money but can’t issue a refund. What gives do the right thing then and lower this price to what it should be. 3-5 dollar range

### 1/5 — Horrible, where are the study guides, that I paid for.

*2019-03-22, version 4.1*

I really liked this App at the beginning for having direct option to view study guides from flight school, now all of those study guides are gone. I want my money back please, this is completely useless for me now. How do I get a refund?

### 1/5 — EDIT: Horrible without student handouts

*2019-03-18, version 4.1*

EDIT: This app deserves a 1 star now.... all of the student handouts are gone and with no refund! That was the best part of the app. And one of the main reasons I purchased this. I logged on today to review before my flight and it’s all gone. Please refund me and I’ll delete this. For everyone else save your money and just google the publications you need or go on quizlet and look up the flash cards you need.

Simply put, this app is awesome. I’m transferring from the UH-60M to the A/L and haven’t studied A/L stuff in over 5 years. It has almost all topics and study guides/ flash cards and even has the single source sheet which I have been trying to find for weeks for the A/L. My biggest recommendation, or issue, is that the flash cards flip very slow which slows down studying. Then also I would much rather have the option to study the flash cards in a list so I can scroll through them quickly like they have it set up on quizlet if possible! It makes it hard to see the overall content being covered in the flash card sections. Overall, I would recommend this to any aviator at any progression level for a quick study reference and one stop shop for materials.

### 2/5 — Needs to separate the Echo and Delta Apache

*2020-06-19, version 4.2*

This app is good, but it is not helpful when I am studying the general subjects such as Engines and APART and some of the answers are for the Delta when I am needing them for the Echo. One example being the EDECU vs the DECU providing NP protection at different speeds. Please fix this issue. Once it is this app will be much more beneficial especially with the increased price of the app.

### 2/5 — CH-47 ETA?

*2019-07-25, version 4.1*

When will the CH-47 section be available?

### 2/5 — Chinook flash cards

*2018-11-25, version 4.1*

Chinook flash cards have been “coming soon” for at least the last 6 months. I like what I see for the other airframes and I’m looking forward to seeing the chinook flash cards hopefully sometime soon.

### 2/5 — Love the app, but something is missing...

*2018-10-28, version 4.1*

Hi there! Just started the 60M course, and I am so grateful for this app for all the refreshers I can whip through concerning airspace, exogenous factors, etc. The main reason I bought the app though was to study my 5's and 9's, which I thought would be on here... maybe it’s restricted material and I’m just unaware? Otherwise wonderful app, and incredibly user-friendly!

Since I got a developer response, I guess I’ll comment here too. The EP’s do not show up on my iPad. They do, however, work on my phone. I sent an email to the contact email with no response. Do not waste your money on this app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — A great App for review

*2025-05-18, version 4.3*

So far this app has been very useful when used. I believe the app is still current. It looks like it may have been a while since an update, but pubs don't change all that often.

### 5/5 — Worth it!

*2020-05-17, version 4.2*

This app is well worth the cost. I rarely find apps that are worth paying for, but this one is. The information stays up to date and current. Would definitely recommend!

### 5/5 — Worth every cent!

*2020-04-27, version 4.2*

I have been in Army Aviation for my entire Army career and flown in 5 different airframes (not counting the multiple models within those airframe groupings), so its been fantastic having this app where I can still “stay in the books” and study like I did back in flight school without having the massive stacks of notecards piled up around me. It’s made it so much easier to keep up with my aircraft knowledge and I don’t have to spend hours creating digital flashcard decks or pulling up each individual publication because all the work is already done for me. The app is easy to use and I like the APART feature under the flash cards section that mixes all the flash cards together and asks you questions at random (which is more realistic when it comes to evaluations). I also like the Publications library, because it allows for quick reference of various aviation publications (minus the -10, due to legal reasons). Plus, if you have any questions or comments at all, they are super responsive and are happy to address anything that comes up.

Overall, this app is fantastic and worth every penny. Awesome job guys and keep up the good work!

### 5/5 — 5&9s made easy!

*2020-04-11, version 4.2*

This is a great app that is worth every penny! I used this app all throughout flight school and honestly I couldn’t have imagined how much harder it would have been without this. My phone is always in my pocket so studying on road trips or evenings or sitting on the John is simple. The developer constantly updates the app with the latest changes making our lives easy. It’s not just 5&9s though, as a gun pilot I’ve used almost all of the available content for different phases of training back at Rucker.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2019-10-25, version 4.1*

It’s an amazing app, and it’s always updated with the latest changes. I use it everyday.

### 5/5 — AMAZING!!!

*2019-08-08, version 4.1*

Don’t listen to the negative reviews. This app is 5 stars, easy. It will benefit anyone who uses it....new aviators to IPs. The flash card feature is spot on. It’s a great way to learn and give yourself an honest assessment of where you’re truly at, at any particular subject. Publications change and update over time. I have noticed a few flash cards that needed to be updated. I shot Aaron an email and he responded within 24hrs and fixed the issues.

The second benefit to this app is having every single pub an Army aviator needs. As long as you keep the app updated you will never have to worry about expired pubs.

Definitely worth the money. Take it seriously, you’re flying after all..

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2019-06-21, version 4.1*

I’ve been using this app since it was created. It’s been a great tool. So what if the student handouts and sensitive materials had to be removed. That’s a bummer, however I was able to download them with ease from AKO. I totally get the reasoning. The flash cards are what I use the most. Thanks!!

### 5/5 — Great app for multiple aircraft

*2019-05-02, version 4.1*

This app has several useful sections and is great for general study of 4 different aircraft, both iPad and iPhone.

It’s too bad that the student handouts had to come down, but anyone that’s ever been in the military can understand that someone must’ve made the developer restrict those. They have foreign disclosure statements listed on the front page, so can’t be available to everyone on the App Store. I emailed the developer and he immediately sent me the student handouts via military email. Problem solved (if you have .mil email), just ask.

The flash card section has some great info but not so much that it’s overwhelming. I wish the swipe navigation of flash cards was a little smoother (both forward and backward please) but that’s a minor gripe.

Overall, this app has been very useful, especially for staying current in multiple aircraft. I also appreciate the prompt support from the developer, great help there.

### 5/5 — Great app for aviator s

*2019-04-12, version 4.1*

Great app lots of information, that’s guys

### 5/5 — Review

*2018-11-15, version 4.1*

Always up to date and able to study from my phone.
