Landing weight is just as important as takeoff weight. Should be an update to include landing weight plot/table at all times. Otherwise super easy to use and connect to a compatible ADS-B device. Best, The Aviator Assistant Team ### 1/5 — Very Difficult to Cancel *2025-08-18* I have no particular issue with the app except that the developer makes it very difficult to cancel the subscription. I was a student pilot but due to a health issue I have had to give up flying lessons. So no further need for AA. If I go to the website and try to cancel it tells me to use the app. If I go to the iPad app there’s nothing that allows me to cancel. So now I will have to dispute (block) any further charges on the credit card, probably by closing the credit card number, which is a royal pain. Former Feeder Airline Captain and 20+ year turbo prop charter pilot. 2nd. Aviator Assistant was a great app in the beginning and I got quick responses when reporting issues. NOW, don’t seem to really care if you are having issues. Call their phone number, and it says mailbox is full and not accepting new messages. I have pointed this out several months ago. No change. Seems the first fix they try is to uninstall the app, then re download it and reinstall it. Flying ifr, all of a sudden the ifr chart disappears. Big problem. Approach plate overlays have no transparency and you cannot see the chart behind the plate. Vfr charts get lost as well. Couple years ago, I gave them a 4 star rating as they were really trying. Currently, I cannot do that. Notice there are no current ratings! They cant even keep their charts up to date! Plenty of other apps have the same info for free.
