## What is AviatorWatch?

AviatorWatch is a personal aviation companion for the days between flights. Built for pilots who want a little bit of aviation on their wrist — METAR, active runway, wind, density altitude, moon phase, all at a glance.

Not meant to be your primary flight-planning tool. Always brief with approved sources before you fly.

  • Current METAR for your selected airport, updated automatically
  • Active runway based on current wind, with crosswind and headwind components
  • Density altitude with field-elevation reference
  • Altimeter setting in a Kollsman-window-style complication, with rising/falling/steady trend
  • TAF timeline complication — next four forecast periods, color-coded by flight category
  • Moon phase with real lunar surface texture, plus moon and sun rise/set times
  • FAA-sectional-style airport symbol — blue for towered, magenta for untowered
  • Personal Minimums — set thresholds for ceiling, visibility, crosswind, and flight category. Get a notification on your wrist the moment conditions
   cross your line.
  • Currency Tracker — FAA night currency (rolling 90 days, 3 takeoffs/landings to a full stop), IFR currency with grace period, plus anchor events
  (medical, BFR, FIRC). Local notifications at 30 / 7 / 1 days and day-of for each expiring item.
