I was pleasantly surprised. The setup was a little finicky and some of the features could arguably be setup a little better. But overall it’s pretty good. Now it refuses to connect on any combination of devices. Avid Control and EUControl are different version numbers. When will 2025.12.0.36 be available in the App Store? ### 1/5 — An Impossible Solution *2025-07-22* After years of failing at navigating AVID products, I have acceptance that sometimes the problem just might be me. This app has been impossible to connect. I’ve tried a dozen or so different workarounds presented as solutions by other confused loyalists. I’ve tried everything. This app is a joke Avid knows this is dodgy, but will never fix it. And for whatever reason my phone works my iPad is newer than my phone. My phone is at 13. My iPad is brand new. ### 1/5 — Awful ecosystem *2025-05-22, version 2025.3.0* Just buy a USB MIDI controller and move on. The ipad and Mac app both install and appesr to run fine. Problem is the entire system is dreadful and horribly unintuitive, with Avid giving practically zero help on how you actually connect this software together. Maybe if you’re a computer nerd you might make it work but I’m a sound enginer not an IT technician. I attach my phone to my mic stand so I can quickly press record while I'm far from my computer. ### 5/5 — I love this Eucon app *2026-04-24, version 2026.4.0* I use this on 3 Avid S1 units with Amazon Fire tablets plus an ipad pro. I use it daily in the creation of major streaming series and movies. This FREE app is a quite reasonable substitute for the VERY expensive S6 Console I use at the studio. I actually feel a bit guilty that i can do so much from a simple tablet. ### 5/5 — Easy and Powerful *2024-06-08* I have a Mac Book Pro and and iPad and iPhone. It was easy to download. Yes, you need to download and install EuControl but the entire process of setting this up took me 20 minutes. Everything worked smoothly and it was easy to bring the power of working in Pro Tools to my other devices. I had no problems at all, just was patient and watched two videos to get all the settings I needed, including setting up the time-saving soft keys in EuControl that show up in the Avid Control app. Love it! ### 5/5 — Fast and reliable control surface. *2024-01-21* Absolutely amazing to see features that used to cost thousands of dollars packaged up for free with Avid Control.
