## Newest reviews (1 of 17)

### 1/5 — Bad experiences so far...

*2019-09-11, version 2019.3.1*

App isn’t working at all. Won’t allow me to sign in via mobile nor on computer. Says in red that there’s a sign-in error and something is wrong with your system at the moment.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Do not waste your money on avidplay

*2023-12-08*

Due to a glitch in Avids server my album got taken down, 4 months after they finally put it back up but I LOST ALL MY EARNINGS and algorithm stats….back to square one. ALL MY HARD WORK WAS LOST DUE TO A “GLITCH”

### 1/5 — Potentially the worst app ever made

*2023-11-08*

This app is awful and glitchy. Truly a disappointment

### 1/5 — Absolutely terrible app

*2023-04-29*

No support, it takes months to respond I guess it matter of time for independent artists will move their digital distribution elsewhere.

### 1/5 — Interface on Mobile and Desktop is not Usable!!!

*2023-03-24*

I would expect Pro Tools and Avid,
“The industry leading music software”, to have a least some sort of useable interface for uploading and releasing music to all major streaming platforms like any other music distributor I have used before. EVEN FREE ONES. I know they have money because they’re products are expensive, so they can at least hire UX/UI designers to make a simple easy-to-use application for independent artists uploading their art. They need to fix this quickly, or many of us will start using other music distributors and NEVER COME BACK. The app is laggy, buggy, slow and randomly stops working all of a sudden. I don’t recommend avid for music distributors thus far, however, I plan to hang around for a little bit longer until I make a decision.

### 1/5 — Man listen

*2023-02-22, version 2020.06.1*

Everything that could be wrong with it is wrong. Stay away. Customer service will not help you either.

### 1/5 — Cannot publish music

*2022-02-02, version 2020.06.1*

You cannot publish music there has been a glitch since last year that shows invalid date and prevents you from publishing music.

### 1/5 — Poorly made app

*2021-03-15, version 2020.06.1*

The app it’s poorly made and it’s not a smooth experience, sometimes it work and sometimes it doesn't, terrible user experience

### 1/5 — terrible

*2021-03-11, version 2020.06.1*

I was expected that after months some issues would be fixed but it it even went worth! my avid music dashboard just disappeared. i have reinstalled the app but no luck. Avid! shame on you!

### 1/5 — What Is Going On Here?

*2020-12-02, version 2020.06.1*

For a company that has strangleholded its loyal customers into buying monthly subscriptions you’d think their app would run much smoother than it does. It literally locks up from the second you open it. I appreciate the boldness and optimism but perhaps we should stick to what works before we start tripping over ourselves

### 1/5 — Always Buggy

*2020-05-14, version 2019.10.1*

DO YOU GUYS EVEN UPDATE THIS APP???

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Easy to use!!!

*2019-02-16, version 2019.1.1*

Always finding new and exciting ways to use this app — great stuff!

### 4/5 — Stop playing games

*2024-03-18*

Stop the playing games and add the distribution page back to the app. You all are acting like Zuckerberg and it’s not at all a professional look, nor does it make you all look like you’re conducting serious nor legitimate business. Can we please be professional about a professional software, Thanks! Also, not a good look for you all messing with peoples distribution services that can have a direct legal implication on your company, could potentially be false advertisement and we see how that goes with companies who have been sued after lying to bring in new customers. It’s 2024 let’s not go back to early 2000s pyramid schemes, plus attorneys are willing to fly pro bono for these types of things these days! You all can do so much better

Oh and since you updated the apps version and code and didn’t update the stores information that is also a legal issue….

People are watching and paying attention to these things! Don’t forget you all have to follow the app store policies to avoid legal actions being taken against you!

### 4/5 — Still Can’t save Profile Changes

*2019-01-25, version 2019.1.1*

This app is great and working great thus far but for some reason even from before this app I can not save any changes I make in my profile????

### 3/5 — Avid link artists section

*2020-08-16, version 2020.06.1*

This app is definitely needed but I’m having issues with the pay button

### 2/5 — Terrible!

*2024-04-07*

The app always has problems. Almost all the time!

### 2/5 — Releases stay on “Draft”.

*2023-07-25*

It’s annoying when every detail is filled out and the release stays on “draft”. Should say “ready for review” before the distribution. I’ve contacted support but nothing yet. I’m a couple days behind due to this….
