Avigilon Unity Video mobile app is available for use with Avigilon Unity Video Core, Standard, and Enterprise edition sites. Avigilon Unity Video app requires Avigilon Unity Video sites to be running the Avigilon Unity Web Endpoint component. The Avigilon Unity Video Web Endpoint is pre-installed on Avigilon Network Video Recorders (NVRs) and High Definition Video Appliances (HDVAs), is part of the firmware for Avigilon ES Appliances, and is available as a separate download for any server running on Windows.

### 1/5 — Fix authentication

Every time you update the app it forces me to log in rather than use biometric. It fails and I try to reset the password. Your password rules are to strict so most password generators fail. Why am I using a password anyways? Every other service in the world relies on mainstream authentication. Go the love of god use what’s out there! Microsoft, google, apple. I don’t care! Stop making me reset my worthless password in your system!

I have 4 ACC7 sites and the app takes over a minute to launch and list the sites.

Unusable for answering intercoms.

It always tunnels video through the cloud. This seriously needs UDP hole punching or better yet, a UDP port that can be opened on the server for the app to make a seamless direct connection.

Motorola is having their lunch money stolen by ubiquiti in the CCTV mobile app space.

Why do you reset a users password so often?

Most people use biometric so it makes no sense. Worse yet, it’s glitchy as heck. You don’t accept standard password generators and then it glitches out even when I put in an acceptable one. Every time, like every single time you reset it gets stuck and my account gets locked.

Also, the controls for PTZ cameras are so laggy it’s worthless.

The app is awesome, it is great compared to ACC3 in stability. One thing missing, and I really really hope it will be coming in a very near update is Audio. Where is the Audio and why did it not make the release? I still have to fight with ACC3 stability to get my audio when I need it. Bummer l, but my hopes are high for it to get here soon, like tomorrow soon. Over all, good job and I like where it’s going.

Given my criticism of ACC3, I thought it important to recognize the enormous improvement in app stability, loading time, picture quality, and (so far), the general reliability of the new unity release. Over due, but great work!

I realize that this is the first release of the “redesigned app” but I feel that it could be much better. First off, it would be nice to still have an option for local connection. As far as I can tell, this new app forces connections through cloud services. The ACC Mobile 3 app offered great timeline scrubbing, while this new app’s timeline scrubbing is laggy and the image goes dark sometimes when scrubbing. It would be nice for the playback window to offer a double tap on the left or right to skip ahead 5 or 10 seconds (similar to what is offered in the YouTube app). The multi-view in this version is much worse than in ACC Mobile 3. Notifications are good, but it would be nice to attach a thumbnail of the alarm event to the push notifications and maybe offer some context menu when the push notification is long pressed (such as in the UniFi Protect app) Lastly, PLEASE add some basic search capabilities similar to the ACC desktop client I.e., motion, event, alarm search, etc.
