A great experience. ### 5/5 — Awesome Rower!!! *2024-02-26* I'm still amazed at what a great purchase choice I made with Aviron, changed my entire view of working out and building a better version of myself and my fitness journey. I get compliments as well as people coming over to try it out. Great job Aviron on making this the best fitness purchase and very entertaining to keep me focused and thrilled at the same time. It works just like the normal rower but it’s the iPad version. It’s still in just as good shape as it was when it was new. And yes it has millions of meters on it now. I have transported it to different homes in different states and it’s still going strong with zero issues. The minor issues I have experienced have been fixed by the support team right away and the motivation and support from the Facebook group is something that can’t be beat!!! ### 5/5 — Great workout for non athletes *2024-02-25* I’ve had my Aviron Strong rower for about 3 months and I love using it! I have the natural athletic ability of a sloth and loathe working out/sweating with the fire of a thousand suns. That being said- you give me a game where pirates are trying to steal me booty- and I’ll row HAM and happily sweat. The coached series for beginners is clutch to make sure to start with good form and not hurt yourself- shout out to Austin/Training Tall for doing a great job! Once you get the basics nailed down- there are so many different types of games/coached workouts for whatever you want- lazy scenic row vs HIIT vs old school pong to pirates 🏴‍☠️HIGHLY recommend Aviron rowers (I pondered on the buy for over a year before I finally did it), and the community support is AHMAZING 😊 ### 5/5 — Ever been addicted to exercise? *2024-02-25* I’ve never been addicted to exercise until I got this rower and Aviron app. It works flawlessly with the rower adjusting resistance on many of its many games. I finished the intro to rowing program and now I’m working through the Structured Programs. The variety of games on the app is amazing and Aviron Community is so helpful with questions and support. Highly recommend. ### 5/5 — Robust Rowing App *2024-02-24* I've had my StrongGo for just about a month now. Installing the app and connecting my iPad and heart rate strap to the rower was a breeze! Aviron does offer free use of the app, but I opted for a membership allowing me the ability to add family members. Once set up, switching profiles is as easy as a tap of our picture. I couldn't be more impressed with the multitude of workout options within the app! Everything from fun, engaging games to guided workouts to relaxing, scenic rows! There are several options to teach you proper rowing technique, which will ensure you get the most benefit safely out of each session. It’s like having a live coach in your house!! The games can be played solo or with other members in real-time! My son is seven, and he LOVES to play the game taking down pirates! We often have to come to an agreement on who gets to use the rower first! The app also offers many rowing workout series programs that make sure I’ve mastered each workout before moving on to the next one in the series. My progress is saved for every session I do, and I love that I can go back to look at my stats to see how much I’ve improved. I can no longer see my speed or resistance level! Horrible to pay this much for a machine and have the update screw things up. ### 1/5 — Won’t maintain connection with Avirons Strong rower *2025-10-03, version 1.0.18* I didn’t have any issues when I first subscribed 25 days ago. I’ve used the app daily and every day it loses connection within the first 3 minutes so even the shortest games are made useless. I’ve tried everything you can find online but reach out to support. I guess I’ll give that a try before I cancel my membership but I don’t have high hopes. This rower is already too expensive simply to be a basic rower but there’s no sense in paying for a membership that doesn’t do more than free YouTube videos and my Garmin watch can do. ### 1/5 — Great in idea poor execution *2025-05-07* Aviron has a great idea that falls flat when it comes to practice. The updates constantly mess up the ability to play with other machines. They advertise it works with the Concept 2 rower but does not allow you to play games with anyone who is not on a concept rower. I own 2 Aviron rowers and they can often not play together because the updates are not released at the same time. I have to pay for multiple subscriptions and can’t utilize the services quite often. Pretty useless ### 1/5 — Complete failure to connect to my Aviron rowing machine *2024-03-14* Installed the app on my iPhone running the latest iOS, signed in with the same login I have in my machine also updated to the latest software, made sure Bluetooth was on on my Aviron and on my iPhone, followed the instructions that popped up on the iPhone app and went into the Connect option then nothing… My machine never shows up in the list of available Bluetooth device. Needs to be rebuilt with less stuff in the screen. Every interaction is not optimized for simplicity. Most of the games do not work because all the levels are locked. The games that do work the game is super skippy even with just my tv and iPad running on the internet. The company said they were going to add games a year ago and the same games are still there. Not worth the subscription. ### 5/5 — UP YOUR GAME WITH AVIRON *2025-11-20* I’ve wanted a rower for years and finally made it happen last year during a Black Friday special. I did a lot of research on rowers and decided on the Aviron StrongGO based on the design, quality and performance plus the gamification! I love the dashboard, coaching, games, and more. I’ve never had any connection issues and Aviron continues to offer more features. Also the paid membership allows both me and my spouse to have our own dashboards. No issues with the app, love that I saved a little cash by using my iPad instead of the screen and the updates are always great and haven’t experienced many if any glitches. I’m not one to purchase apps or to do so with exercise programs but this was the best one I could have made for myself. Most smart TVs allow me to cast my phone to a bigger TV and I use this app from my phone. I also have the rower and my only critique would be that the rower software has more options than the concept to bike software, and I would also really like it for ski erg!
