They overbooked and were having system issues. I told them to cancel the reservation when it got to a 2 hour wait for the vehicle. I checked today, August 17, 2026 and the vehicle was never cancelled. I cancelled it and I hope I don’t get charged. Also going from a full-size to a crossover or small SUV is not an upgrade. An upgrade from a full-size car would be a premium luxury or an electric car. Provide card after card for the reservation and even though I accidentally leave the physical at home there’s just ABSOLUTELY no possible way to use them. Nobody answered. I tried to chat multiple times and received a response on the chat, composed by copilot. Because it basically was copied and paste it with the information that says copilot says:. Probably not gonna do this ever again with Avis just terrible after our support terrible customer service at the counter and no resolution of the fact that they had no cars for a confirmed resolution.
