### 2/5 — Inaccurate measurements

*2026-07-16*

The measurements were pretty off, likely due to the apps inability to take accurate photos. It automatically detects when you are in the requested position, even if you’re not yet in that position. My first reading was 43.6~47.3% and my second was 20.1~21.7%. These measurements were taken minutes apart. The waist measurement was not far off but the hips measurement varied heavily.

### 2/5 — Not happy about the app

*2026-04-13, version 3.7.0*

It doesn’t look realistic and I thought it would take full body shot
Not the way it does

### 1/5 — Don’t buy Very inaccurate

*2026-03-17*

I was willing to give it a try since a dexa scan costs hundreds of dollars. This costs $8 usd for 1 month. The first scan said I had 13% body fat. The second said 23%. These are wildly different. It should be about 19%. You can just look at body fat images online and compare to what you see in the mirror for more accuracy and it’s free.

**Developer response:** Hi Beth, thanks for giving it a try, we really appreciate it. That kind of variation isn’t the experience we aim for. Results can vary depending on how the scan is captured, but consistency is something we take seriously. We appreciate the feedback.

### 1/5 — Garbage app

*2026-01-12, version 2.1.0*

I made four attempts at scans, acquired what appeared to be perfectly usable photos on the app told me that there were issues with them. Deleted this junk.

Very bad

### 1/5 — Ai app

*2025-11-17, version 1.5.0*

I have tried for two days it does the first scan OK then it always says loose clothing and it’s no way it’s loose clothing when it’s Nike dry fit I’m canceling Lexus subscription

### 1/5 — Will not work

*2025-08-10, version 1.3.1*

When I went to do the first scan, the screen was just blank white. I could not actually do any scan.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work at all

*2025-07-13, version 1.2.5*

Guess I’m -40% bf with a 10 inch waist - these other reviews have to have been bought.

scan process kept spamming error messages

### 2/5 — Wont work

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Inaccurate

*2026-08-05, version 4.0.0*

Results are different with every scan

### 1/5 — Must be a scam

*2026-07-30, version 4.0.0*

I tested this app out of curiosity. My body fat percentage is under 9%, with some variations between the measurements from my doctor’s office, dexa and my home scale. Avix disagrees: I have 46% according to the app!!! Don’t waste your money

### 1/5 — They will take your money

*2026-06-28, version 3.11.0*

I didn’t even sign up for anything and they automatically billed me $60 for the entire year. Absolutely unacceptable and will be working towards taking action

### 1/5 — Not accurate

*2026-06-14, version 3.11.0*

Doesn’t work for people with lose skin

### 1/5 — Inaccurate and charged during free trial

*2026-06-12, version 3.11.0*

Got 16% bf the first time and 32% 10 min later. Wildly inaccurate. Not only that, they charged me immediately after signing up for the “free trial.”

### 1/5 — Not even close

*2026-06-08, version 3.11.0*

Hoping for an easy way to track body fat percentage as I try to gain more muscle (instead of getting a dexa scan). Not even close. Waist and hip measurement off by 5-6 inches and body fat percentage off 4-5 percentage points. Maybe ok if you are in beginning stages of weight loss journey. Cancelled.

### 1/5 — Not Accurate

*2026-06-05, version 3.11.0*

Currently sitting at 13.5 percent body fat. App said I was 23%. Unbelievably off

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-05-29, version 3.10.0*

This app seems like a scam. It said free two week trial then charged me immediately. When I tried to contact customer support, I got no response through the chat and no answer when I called. I had to contact Apple to get refunded. And the body scan didn’t even come out right. Don’t waste your money!

### 1/5 — In accurate and distorted

*2026-05-15*

Super inaccurate, creating a distorted and lopsided, body scan, just felt the software is not up to par to what it needs to be, the scanning likely should be done with the user being a few feet away and it’s seeing the full body of the individual, it assumes a lot of the measurements right when it comes to muscle mass and body measurements such as those, but otherwise this app is definitely in beta and not ready to be used largely

### 1/5 — Not accurate

*2026-05-12, version 3.9.0*

Terrible

### 5/5 — Great accuracy

*2026-01-20*

I used this app to track my body metrics and I was quite surprised on how close it was to the actual numbers I just did in person at Body Spec. As a personal trainer this is an an amazing tool for myself and my clients. The future is here!

### 5/5 — An essential tool for success if you are a fitness professional

In this digital age Visualizeme is one of the best tools to keep my online and in-personal clients on track with!

I ten out of ten recommend using if accountability is something you and your clients value.

Saving time and money while consistently delivering results.

### 5/5 — Fitgurl

*2025-08-15, version 1.3.3*

At first I thought this was BS… but I was shocked to see it actually gave me the same scan results that my body spec DEXA gave me. This thing is legit!

### 5/5 — Wow! My results were shocking in a GOOD WAY!

*2025-08-15, version 1.3.3*

This app is so easy to use, and I don’t have to drive in my scans.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2025-07-13, version 1.2.5*

I can tell the developers put a lot of work into this app and the fact that it’s free is even better!!!!!

### 5/5 — Easy App

*2025-06-14*

The app was incredibly user-friendly. Despite not being tech-savy, I managed to take a few selfies and get the app up and running in no time. Gives me a great starting point in my fitness journey.

### 5/5 — Best app on the market

*2025-06-01*

### 5/5 — Simple and effective

*2025-05-28*

I love how this app is so straightforward and is exactly what it’s supposed to do which is tell you your body fat %. It’s so important for me to be aware of my body percentage so I can understand if my progress has been effective or if it needs any tweaking. Will definitely be using weekly!
