My decision was AvPlan for several reasons: intuitive and simple to use VFR and IFR features, approachable, responsive support, open for new ideas. I fly charter in a light turbo-prop and I would definitely say that this EFB pays for itself in less than a week. How? To easily and accurately choose the optimum flight level - that means saving valuable minutes and valuable fuel. This EFB exceeded my expectations again and again. I’m talking flight times +/- 1 minute and fuel burn to within 1%. Obviously, it requires a bit of work on the aircraft profile. But once you get it “dialled in” it works like a dream.
