Audio seems to echo and go out of sync. Update : after many many years of trusted use still the best media player out there. Working great on IOS 14 on M1 processor much as it did on single digit IOS. A must have player 2nd to none. Most recent update has definitely improved HD play back on the iPad mini. Overall still the leader in a crowded pack. Love this app and is really user friendly and nice looking simple interface. I have bought a number of media players over the years but have to admit this one is the best playing anything thrown at it without any issues. Developer has managed to license the AC3 audio codec so thats good as most "back-ups" have AC3 audio. otherwise a flawless app with really good interface where you can program touch screen gestures to pause, play change video and volume.. I have stuck with this one now for some years and they have never let me down. even pulling app for a short period while they sorted out a dispute rather than removing features like other developers did. ### 4/5 — Solid player *2022-06-25, version 2.95* Has done everything I need for years. Network/cloud interaction isn’t great but I don’t care about that. I just drop videos in it from the finder and keep them on the iPad until I’m done with them. Crashes occasionally if you do a lot of scrubbing on some video formats. And no, this isn’t a fake review. It was pretty robust and you’re allowed you to just Wi-Fi transfer and files as needed. The app stopped working with iOS 16 I don’t know why. No, the sound acts wonky and has been so for a few months now. The website doesn’t look like it’s been updated in a very long time, and the app hasn’t been updated in two years. Perhaps one day they will fix this, but I stopped, holding my breath for a few months now. ### 1/5 — Not updated for os 16 *2023-03-26, version 2.95* As mentioned elsewhere it’s broken in os 16. The audio is totally unsync’d and echoing. It’s unusable. Developers contacted, no response. After many years of great use it’s time to move on. It lags and echoes making things unwatchable. And it also when you open the movie, there is a black line on the left hand side of the screen.
