## What is AVV connect?

Buy the right ticket now directly in the app
 
As a joint brand, naveo is the mobility platform of all partner companies in the Aachener Verkehrsverbund (AVV), including local transport in the Rhineland. Do you know when and where the next bus or train leaves? No problem with naveo – and you can now book the right ticket directly in the new naveo app. In addition to single and 24-hour tickets, weekly and monthly tickets are also available online for the first time. The range of tickets will be supplemented in late summer by eezy - the airline tariff that is valid throughout NRW. The new version of the "naveo" app for trips in the AVV, the Euregio Maas-Rhein and all of NRW offers even more useful features for on the go as well as significant improvements to already known functions.

 
The known functions are still available:
+ Check in/out with eezy.NRW. 49€ price cap in NRW included.
+ Tickets for the AVV tariff and the flat-rate tickets for the NRW tariff can be purchased directly in the app. Directly from a route or via the ticket catalogue. More ticket offers will follow. + Tab bar for quick switching between route, departures and tickets
+ Ticket button for quick access to your current tickets in the app
+ Use easyConnect as a naveo feature for cross-borer train journeys between Cologne and Maastricht by travelling with the check-in / check-out technology 
+ Destination quick selection: Select your preferred destinations easily using drag & drop. Popular destinations can be set as an icon.

- Connection display for bus & train, bicycle, car, car sharing (incl. free vehicles at the next station) or all of them in the mix
- Always display the fastest and best possible connection to the desired destination - in NRW address-specific from door to door

- Access to the camera: the app contains a QR code scanner that uses the camera to read the QR codes printed on the notices

Wirkt deutlich moderner und zuverlässiger als die vorherige Version. Hatte auch lange keine Probleme mehr damit, dass mein Studenten-Deutschlandticket nicht abrufbar ist. Danke für die Verbesserungen.

Die App funktioniert richtig gut und die Anzeigen sind meistens korrekt. Aber seit einiger Zeit, wenn ich auf die App gehe und nicht mit dem WLAN von Zuhause verbunden bin dann lädt das eine Minute und dann steht da „ Zeitüberschreitung bei der Anforderung“. Was ist das bitte?! Vielleicht liegt es an meinem Internet aber wenn Nein dann bitte schnell beheben.

Die App selbst funktioniert an dieser Stelle korrekt. Die Meldung „Zeitüberschreitung bei der Anforderung“ erscheint in der Regel dann, wenn die Verbindung zum Internet zu langsam oder instabil ist. Das kann unterwegs, je nach Netzabdeckung, leider häufiger vorkommen.

Bitte prüfe einmal, ob das Problem auch in einem anderen Mobilfunknetz oder nach einem kurzen Neustart des Geräts auftritt. Sollte die Verbindung stabil sein und die Meldung trotzdem weiterhin erscheinen, gib uns gerne noch einmal Bescheid, damit wir genauer nachschauen können.

Eine guthabensnzeige fehlt, dann kann es nicht sein das ich an einem tag zwei mal 15€ bezahlen muss obwohl jeder dieser zwei Fahrten nur rund 3,30€ gekostet hat, noch weiterhin potizential nach oben offen

Der Logout erfolgt nicht nur alle 30 Tage. Sondern völlig random. Ich wurde in den letzten 10 Tagen, seit dem 9. Dezember gleich 3x ausgeloggt: 
Einmal nach 2 Stunden, dann nach 4 Tagen und zuletzt gestern Abend. Damit ist die Aussage, dass man alle 30 Tage automatisch ausgeloggt wird einfach nur eine plumpe Ausrede. 
Vor allem hat man als Semesterticket-Fahrer mit einem Zahlungsdienstleister echt nichts zu tun.

Ich bin regelmäßig in verschiedenen Städten in Deutschland und habe eine Reihe ÖPNV-Apps auf dem Handy. Dies ist die schlechteste. Geradezu grotesk schlecht. Überall sonst kann ich einfach ein Ticket mit einer im Handy hinterlegten Zahlmittel  kaufen oder per Paypal. Hier ist eine Registrierung nötig. Beim hinzufügen einer Zahlmethode erhalte ich den Hinweis, dass ich zuerst eine Rechnungsadresse hinterlegen muss. Anklicken kann ich den Hinweis aber nicht. Die passende Stelle habe ich nur nach längerem Suchen durch Zufall gefunden. Beim Anklicken der Felder für Nutzername und Passwort erscheint keine Tastatur. Workaround: Text in einem Editor eingeben, kopieren und dann hier einfügen. Die Entwickler haben ihre eigene App sicher noch nie selbst genutzt. Ziel ist offenbar eher Datensammlung als Nutzerfreundlichkeit.

Bin durch DE-Ticket gezwungen diese app zu benutzen und benutze sie auch nur dafür. Scheinbar dachten die Ersteller es sei eine gute Idee, dass einen die App regelmäßig, aus Sicherheitsgründen, ausloggt. Dabei besteht nicht die Möglichkeit kurz auf das ticket zuzugreifen. Wenn man spontan kontrolliert wird und nicht direkt auf die anmelde Daten zugreifen kann hat man dann ein Problem…

Update: es wurde anscheinend behoben!

Seitdem ich automatisch aus der App abgemeldet wurde, wird mein Ticket, nach erneuter Anmeldung, nicht geladen. Da steht andauernd „Download nicht möglich“. Somit kann ich das Ticket nicht nutzen. App neu installiert, trotzdem nicht besser. Bitte um ein Update.

Eigentlich finde ich Mobilitätsapps großartig. Diese App verbindet jedoch so viele fragwürdige Designentscheidungen mit schlechter Implementation, dass sie einen dazu zwingt, immer neue Facetten des gleichen Albtraums zu durchleben: Das Semesterticket ist jetzt nur noch in der App verfügbar. Nagut. Warum muss ich für den Verknüpfungsvorgang meinen Account zuerst löschen und dann neu erstellen? Warum loggt mich die App regelmäßig und ohne Ankündigung aus meinem Account aus, sodass ich hoffen muss, bei der Ticketkontrolle genug Zeit und Internet zu haben, um mich wieder einzuloggen – das Ticket wird sonst natürlich nicht angezeigt. Würde ich den QR-Code so speichern, wäre das natürlich auch nicht gültig und wäre schwarzfahren. Wozu, mein Lichtbildausweis wird ohnehin kontrolliert? Wenn ich das Ticket in die wallet exportieren könnte, müsste ich mich auch nicht jedes mal durch den unübersichtlichen Menü-Jungle kämpfen. (Okay, wenn man einmal weiß, was man macht, geht das sogar.) die App könnte ja auch die NFC-Features nutzen, aber das ist vielleicht zu viel verlangt. Warum kann ich U18-Tickets kaufen, aber nur, wenn ich über 18 bin? Warum wird mein Semesterticket, wenn ich das Handy wechsle, zwar angezeigt, aber als ungültig und ohne QR-Code angezeigt? (Auf der FAQ-Seite steht explizit, dass das funktioniert.) Es ist sehr schwer, solche Dinge nicht als absichtliche kundenunfreundliche Designentscheidungen zu werten. Ich meine, okay, die App ist unübersichtlich und braucht Einarbeitung, aber es ist ja auch eine regionale App. Aber bitte macht es doch nicht so unfassbar schwer, mein Ticket anzuzeigen, für das ich bezahlt habe. Es wäre so viel besser, würde ich den QR-Code einfach per Mail geschickt bekommen und es gäbe keine App.

Es tut mir wirklich leid, so negativ zu sein, aber ich habe noch nie in meinem Leben eine Chipkarte so sehr vermisst.
