The new update requires setting up an account which I did and I still cannot access the cameras. Wife’s phone same thing. Work phone which did not update still works perfectly! You’d have better monitoring capabilities with a half blind monkey and a carrier pigeon. I’ve been stuck with this app for my business for years and I can’t wait to finally change it. I can never access them either live or recordings without going to my business in the office where everything is hardwired. If it costs more for a different system but you can use a different app, it’s worth not having to deal with this. ### 1/5 — AVYcon on Apple doesn’t work anymore *2020-12-16, version 1.7.7* DVR is online. It connects on desktop AVYcon just fine. Apple mobiles no longer connect. Claim the DVR is offline. It’s not. This Software is broken. The app used to go to my cameras immediately but now error messages keep coming on screen. It then goes into searching for cameras then back to error & maybe locks in on the cameras I wanted. Horrible app & company. DO NOT BUY!!! This company is horrible & is also Chinese. And, there is no one to call. Needs an immediate update. ### 1/5 — Outdated and the new Avycon One seems not retrofitable… *2022-12-13, version 1.10.0* The app interface for Video etc is appaling; as if no one has opened a competitive App to try to match. Recently, a new problem arose with my Norton VPN without warning. Avycon worked perfectly with this software for a couple of years. Then stopped altogether. Aftera tedious 2-3 hours of research, I found the answer, ie turn the VPN off. My low voltage specialist showed me the new AVYCON ONE app that is supposed to be better. Not sure how it is supposed to be installed but so far is not working with my existing installation. In short, if you like complexity, difficult, non intuitive and troubleshooting on your own for hours then go for it. ### 1/5 — New version does not support VPN *2022-12-03, version 1.10.0* I have used this app for three years with no problems until three weeks ago when the new version came out. Spent five hours with the support tech trying to find the problem. The solution is that I have to turn off my VPN to view my cameras. ### 1/5 — App All Of A Sudden Not Working (Coffee Cup Cameras) *2022-11-10, version 1.10.0* Everything had been working fine until Monday (7 November 2022). I went to check my cameras and received a quick “Your App Has Crashed” message…and now my cameras are no longer visible on my phone. Unfortunately this was a day before I left to go out of town on business, and was not able to watch my daughter get on the bus in mornings. If you installed the system yourself then you should call the manufacturer to help you with the app. I am an installer and use this app frequently. Actually Daliy. Works perfectly fine. If you have 30 apps running in the background, of course this app will crash your iPhone or android cannot handle the bandwidth people!
