Bad app. *2025-02-02, version 1.6* Camera works fine but the app is very slow and it takes a long time to download videos. It’s easier to just insert the micro sd card into a computer and see the data. If you use Apple CarPlay over WiFi you have to choose between having your dashcam or CarPlay active, and you dashcam will only work while you are in the car and connected to the devices WiFi. I started with a use SD card but I recommend getting a new one so you don’t have to format it. I seen the low rating and cant understand why. The first time i used it some guy sped by me hit a dip and caught air and sent sparks flying and I got it all on camera. I locked that video a watch it when i need a good laugh. Whatever might have been wrong with the app, it works perfect now. I thought if you hardwire dash cam like it says you would have gps live view connects to your phone via WiFi is a WHOLE SCAM. Meaning the dash will disconnect soon as your phone not close. Waste of money for ppl who live in apartments with horrible parking. Not your fault no but your camera made it seem like I would be able to see my car from inside my apt. NOPE. WiFi no connection yellow light. Car is a sitting duck recording hope. Hoping nobody break in take dash steal car..etc ..ya phone certainly won’t know if you not in Range.
