The app, notifications and Home Screen widgets work as expected on iOS. A good way to monitor your air quality. One suggestion is, allow for decimal places when displaying temperature in the iOS widget and on the element display. I assume most of your customers use Fahrenheit, so decimal places wouldn’t be that important. But if someone who has their device set to Celsius , having it round up from 24.5 to 25 in the widget is annoying. Also I would have liked to buy your business product with sound DB monitoring. Living in an urban area with construction and noise pollution it would be great to get a notification to shut your window. Or with automation, close a smart window 🙃 ### 2/5 — Great hardware, terrible software *2025-09-28, version 4.7.8* Exceedingly embarrassingly bad onboarding that just doesn’t work, and barely helps when it inevitably fails after reconfiguring your router, resetting the device, and redownloading the app. Do better guys. The company doesn’t seem to care about the app and supporting it as updates come in once in a year or so. Leider muss man für eine Übersicht über den zeitlich Verlauf , der sich auf länger als einen Tag bezieht, das iPhone drehen, was auf dem iPad jedoch so gar nicht funktioniert. Damit ist die App nur fürs iPhone komplett brauchbar. Schade. ### 1/5 — Shows ads on launch *2024-08-20, version 4.7.6* I was just forced to wait ~10 seconds while the app loaded an advertisement for Awair products before I had to click through in order to check on my sensors. I like these sensors and the app generally works fine, but showing me an ad when I’n just trying to use the app to access my sensors is completely unacceptable. ### 4/5 — Now working *2024-06-15, version 4.7.6* I first downloaded the app, but it wasn’t working and I couldn’t use my device, but I contacted the team and in a week they solved the problem. Now I conectes my Awair with my phone. Apparently it is working, when I opened the windows the CO2 levels went down, when I cooked the air quality changed. Company will not permit returns of devices if the package has been opened, even when the device and supporting services don’t function as advertised. ### 1/5 — Can’t login/create an account *2025-12-11, version 4.7.8* Maybe their servers are down right now? ### 1/5 — Awair bricked my working monitor *2025-12-09, version 4.7.8* The company “sunset”(basically bricked) perfectly working gen2 devices. If you reset the device, there is no way to turn it on. Which is absurd for 3 years old 250$ gadget, which doesn’t really need the cloud and the app. It either a scam or poor engineering. PATHETIC!!! *2025-01-12* Unbelievable that companies like AWAIR can continue to do business without some kind of respectable mission statement, corporate ethos or any accountability. Their old devices are no longer supported, so who knows how long my 2 year old unit will work - as it seems to LOSE it’s usefulness as each month passes. The AWAIR app used to show a map of my city showing other AWAIR units and their respective ’figures/measurements’. THAT was useful! Now the App only shows one’s own unit data. How this company is still in business is astounding to me. CES 2025 just ended and AWAIR was noticeably ABSENT! NO booth or corporate representation. That’s clearly demonstrating AWAIR’s current and future viability, accountability and industry integrity - not just for the consumers but also as they relate to or associate with other brands/competitors in the market. If you work for and or invested in this company you should be ashamed of yourself. AWAIR doesn’t even have the decency, basic respect or resources to respond to any of their countless negative App reviews. AWAIR IS PATHETIC. ### 1/5 — Connectivity Issues *2025-01-02, version 4.7.7* The application doesn’t connect after upgrading an iOS device and restoring it from a backup. It must be reinstalled to make it work. The Awair absolutely rocks. I can view air quality even when I’m away from home and it updates quickly. The AirThings requires a local Bluetooth connection and you have to hit refresh to see new data. I don’t understand the negative reviews of the Awair.
