The layout is easy to navigate and aesthetically pleasing, it has a twitter-esque social media element that makes it fun to interact with other members of the community, you get to see where you place on the leaderboard after making predictions, and it has fun extra features that allow you to make your own awards nominations. I was excited to hear this app powers the predictions of Next Best Picture, and there will soon be an integration/pairing to Letterboxd. From the clean UI to virtually non-existent bugs, separate fields for awards, posts, and lists, and fantastic statistical data, this app has proven itself to be a strong pillar of the film community. Since it seems to be pulling from TMDb like Letterboxd it’s a really easy to use service, and if something you’ve loved in the year is missing something in the awards categories, say, an original song, you can just add it!
