AwareManager App provides mobile access to the AwareManager JXT platform. Designed for a range of customers, the app allows users to search, view, add, edit and delete work on the move. Users can also use barcodes to locate work based on their location or equipment. Searching is further enhanced with the ability to save your favorite searches on the device. Once work is complete users can record time taken to do work and photos can be attached to work items to illustrate work to be done, or to show that work has successfully been completed. The training material I could find did not give any information on barcodes and barcode scanning which I believe would be a splendid tool. When attempting to use the "internal scanner", the app crashes every time. The usefulness of this app, in its current state, is limited to updating work order status, readings and times. P.S. Do not rely on the built in timer. Enter time in manually. Things I would like to see: Working barcode scanning. Ability to attach pictures to equipment, not only work orders. Timer functionality even after loss of server connection (store in phone memory). Ability to see seconds value on timer.
