Discover live radio stations from independent broadcasters around the world.

AWE Radio is a platform where anyone can create their own internet radio station. As a listener, you can:

• Swipe to flip between channels and stations with a single gesture — your personal dial grows every time you explore a new station
• Full-screen album art drives a color theme that shifts with every track
• Watch live video broadcasts when hosts go on air
• Full lock-screen, Control Center, and Bluetooth support
• Auto-resumes when you reconnect your car or headphones
• Stream via AirPlay to speakers and Apple TV
• No account required — just open and listen

### 1.11 — 2026-06-16

Discover is now a tuner — search by vibe, genre, or what's playing and land right on the channel. Smoother playback with deeper buffering and faster recovery when the network stumbles. Broadcasters: your station is one tap from your account and rides at the front of your dial. And you can now sign in with Google, alongside Apple.

Faster playback with direct-from-engine streaming. Snappier channel switches, fewer hiccups. Smoother radio under the hood.

### 1.8 — 2026-05-13

CarPlay redesigned for glance-distance reading. Square covers, the station and channel handle on its own line that gently swaps direction so both sides surface naturally, and a prominent now-playing label.

Liked tab splits into Tracks and Stations. Each station shows a live collage of the cover art on every channel you have on dial.

Recently Played - tap the clock icon on the Now Playing screen to see the last tracks that aired on the current channel. Heart any of them to save.

Discover focuses on the listen station's channels for now, with live cover art per channel.

Apple Watch lands directly on the paged dial. Swipe up and down to hop stations, left and right to hop channels, tap the artwork to play or pause. Digital Crown still controls volume.

CarPlay is here. AWE Radio shows up in your car when you plug in. Three tabs — your Dial, Discover other stations, and your Liked tracks. Tap a tile to play, tap the heart to save a song. Two skip buttons let you cycle channels within a station, or hop across stations on your dial.

Apple Watch app. Browse the dial straight from your wrist, with a paged player that swipes vertically between stations and horizontally between channels. Crown adjusts volume. Tap the artwork to play or pause.

Identity-first labels everywhere. The (station/channel) pair shows on lock screen, in the CarPlay window, on your watch, in Spotlight search, and on liked tracks — stable even if a station changes its display name.

Lots of small polish — gapless playback during reconnection, cleaner artwork loading, faster recovery from network blips.

A completely reimagined listener experience.

• The Dial — your scrollable list of radio presets.Swipe horizontally to flip channels, vertically for a fast station-hop.
• Dynamic color — album artwork now drives the full background gradient per track.
• Auto-resumes when you reconnect Bluetooth so the music picks up where you left off.
• Discover sits at the end of the dial — one tap to add a new station to your presets.
• Lock-screen controls now cycle your entire dial not just channels within one station.
• Cleaner UI throughout: simpler track info, no visual clutter, refined haptics.
