I recommend avoiding it altogether. The new version is subscription based. ------------------- I've used and loved Awesome Note for more than a decade, but its website is gone and looks like it's been abandoned. If it's been abandoned, can it still be trusted? 🧐 Rating dropped from 5 ⭐️ to 2 ⭐️ ------------------- 10/5/21 UPDATE I’d love to see an update to include the iPad, but I still love this app! ——————————————————————— I LOVE Awesome Note, but not it's "to do" list. No sub-lists (aka "steps") per task, no icon notification for upcoming or past-due tasks, and a lack of an alarm make this a poor to-do app. With that said; who needs another notepad? I LOVE Awesome Note!!! ------------------------------------------- Old Review: They really hit one out of the park with this one! The only things I think this app needs are multiple check boxes for each todo list. This way you can mark off items on the list as you address them, such as checking off items from a grocery list as you add them to your cart. You have to trust that your information is safe. In the last year the app deleted by itself many of my notes (like twenty!) and you can not have them back through sync or otherwise. I only have maximum 8 notes at a time and still randomly deteles them! The app deletes the note even when it is in “read only” mode. The app leaves you the title and a blank note, only to have a better reason to cry after your precious information.
